Former New Jersey governor Chris Christie was in third place with 12 percent, followed by entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy and Florida governor Ron DeSantis at 8 percent and 5 percent respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The\u2062 poll shows a significant improvement in \u200cHaley&#8217;s performance in the state, with her \u2062share of the\u2062 vote increasing by 12 points since a November CNN poll. This suggests that there is still room for Haley to gain more support before the Jan. 23 New Hampshire primary. Interestingly, 36 \u2063percent of those who\u2063 didn&#8217;t\u200c choose Trump or \u2063Haley as their \u200cfirst choice said Haley was their second choice, while 30 percent said Trump was their second choice.<\/p>\n<p>Among those who chose Haley, 54 percent said\u200c they \u200bhad definitely decided on \u200bher, while 80\u200c percent of Trump supporters expressed the same level of \u2062certainty.<\/p>\n<p>The poll, conducted by CNN\u200d in collaboration with the \u2062University of New Hampshire Survey Center, surveyed 1,864 adults in the\u2064 Granite State. It has an overall margin of error of 2.3 percent and \u2062a margin of error of 3.2 percent for the 914 likely Republican primary voters.<\/p>\n<p>Haley&#8217;s strong performance\u2062 in the poll comes shortly after receiving an endorsement\u2063 from New \u2063Hampshire governor Chris Sununu (R.).
