It is‍ a classic tactic used by those who⁤ are unable or unwilling to engage in an honest and intellectual debate.

The fact that mainstream media outlets, such as CNN and MSNBC, are quick to defend Gay and dismiss the plagiarism charges is⁣ alarming.‌ It reveals a clear bias and lack of‍ journalistic ⁤integrity. Rather ‌than holding those in⁤ positions⁤ of‌ power accountable, they⁢ choose to ⁤protect ⁤their own.

But⁤ this goes beyond just one individual. We must be able to criticize and hold accountable those in positions of power, regardless of their race or gender. This blind allegiance and protection of certain individuals based on their identity only serves to perpetuate division and inequality.

So, what is wrong with these people? It is a combination ‍of arrogance, bias, and a lack of intellectual integrity. They have lost sight of their duty as journalists and activists – to seek the truth⁢ and ‌report it⁤ objectively. Instead, they choose to engage in personal ‌attacks and name-calling, further polarizing our society.

It is time for all of us to demand better.
