Seyed \u200dRazi Mousavi, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/sen-romney-pretty-certain-trump-would-win-2024-gop-nomination-in-a-landslide\/\" title=\"Sen. Romney \u2018Pretty Certain\u2019 Trump Would Win 2024 GOP Nomination \u2018In A Landslide\u2019\">longtime adviser<\/a> to\u2064 the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in \u2063Syria, was reportedly overseeing military coordination between Iran and \u2062Syria when\u2064 he was targeted.<\/p>\n<h3>Iranian Leaders Vow to Respond<\/h3>\n<p>The Iranian state television interrupted \u2063its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/bidens-cnn-town-hall-bombs-in-the-ratings-less-than-300k-viewers-in-most-important-demo\/\" title=\"Biden\u2019s CNN Town Hall Bombs In The Ratings \u2013 Less Than 300K Viewers In Most Important Demo\">regular programming<\/a> to announce the death of Mousavi, who \u2062was described as one of the oldest \u200badvisers\u200c of the\u200d IRGC in Syria. The report also \u200cclaimed that he had been accompanying Qasem \u2063Soleimani, the former leader of the IRGC&#8217;s Quds Force, who was killed \u2062in a drone strike in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>The strike allegedly took place in \u2064the Sayida Zeinab neighborhood of Damascus, although Israel has not directly commented on the incident. The\u200d Syrian Observatory for Human \u2063Rights suggested\u200d that Mousavi was targeted after entering a farm believed to be\u200b an office of Hezbollah, the Iran-backed \u2063Lebanese militant group.<\/p>\n<p>While Israel has not claimed\u200d responsibility\u200b for the\u2062 strike,\u2063 top \u200bIranian leaders, including President \u2064Ebrahim Raisi, have vowed to respond.
