It was a rare moment of brilliance from our historic vice president:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cEvery election cycle we talk about this is the most \u2062election \u200bof\u2062 our\u200d lifetime,\u201d she blathered.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Indeed, 2024 is shaping up to be the most &#8220;election&#8221; of our lifetime.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Not\u2063 just any election. The\u200c <i>most<\/i> election.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In other words, a s***show.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">While America awaits the Supreme Court ruling\u2064 on whether or \u200dnot Colorado can \u2063bar \u200bDonald Trump from the \u200bballot, other states are considering how they \u200bcan follow Colorado\u2019s \u200bsuit \u2064and prevent the leading Republican candidate\u2063 from running. According\u200d to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2023\/12\/20\/us\/politics\/trump-colorado-ballot-other-states.html?action=click&#038;pgtype=Article&#038;state=default&#038;module=styln-trump-colorado-ballot&#038;variant=show&#038;region=BELOW_MAIN_CONTENT&#038;block=storyline_flex_guide_recirc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">New York Times<\/span><\/a>,\u200c at least 16\u200d other states are contemplating barring Trump from\u2064 the\u200b ballot. \u2063This includes four state lawsuits in Michigan, Oregon, New Jersey, and\u200c Wisconsin,\u200b as well as 11 federal lawsuits \u200cin Alaska, Arizona, Nevada, New York, New Mexico, South Carolina, Texas, Vermont,\u200b Virginia, West Virginia, and \u200cWyoming. The cases in Arizona and Michigan have been \u200ddismissed in Trump&#8217;s favor but are currently under appeal. Maine has also joined \u2062the list.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/episode\/ep-1874-will-trump-be-disqualified-before-the-election-even-starts-member-exclusive\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WATCH: The Ben Shapiro Show<\/a><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If the Supreme Court doesn&#8217;t intervene in the Colorado \u200ccase, Trump will remain off the ballot there \u2014 and we can \u200dexpect this madness to spread wherever there is a Democratic Supreme Court \u2062or legislature and governor. Just yesterday, California&#8217;s \u200blieutenant governor Eleni Kounalakis <a href=\"https:\/\/ltg.ca.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/247\/2023\/12\/12202023-1-SOS-Weber-Letter.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">penned a letter<\/a> to the California Secretary of State, urging her to &#8220;explore\u2064 every \u2062legal option to remove former\u200c President \u200dDonald Trump\u200b from \u200bCalifornia&#8217;s 2024 presidential primary ballot.&#8221; Ironically, Kounalakis seems \u2063to be illiterate, as she initially wrote, &#8220;The\u200c constitution is clear: you must be 40 years old and not be an insurrectionist.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Actually, you have to be 35.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">But close\u2064 enough.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Now, it&#8217;s evident that the Colorado Supreme \u2063Court is legally wrong. Even Trump&#8217;s detractors admit it. Trump&#8217;s former\u200c attorney general, Bill Barr, who hasn&#8217;t exactly been a Trump\u200d ally since the 2020 election, <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">stated<\/span>, &#8220;I\u2062 think that this case \u2062is legally wrong and untenable. And I think this\u200d kind of action\u2063 of\u2062 stretching the law, taking these \u200bhyper-aggressive positions to try to knock Trump out of the race are counterproductive. They backfire.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">And Chris Christie, who is running a campaign solely to antagonize\u2063 Trump, concurred, <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">saying<\/span>, &#8220;I do not believe Donald \u200bTrump should \u200bbe\u200d prevented from being president of the United States by\u200c any court.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">But that doesn&#8217;t matter: Those who despise Trump \u2063genuinely believe it is morally justifiable to use any means necessary to \u2062keep him out\u200b of\u200b the White House. \u2063According to a new poll \u200dfrom <a href=\"https:\/\/today.yougov.com\/topics\/politics\/survey-results\/daily\/2023\/12\/20\/edc6d\/1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">YouGov<\/span><\/a>, 54% of Americans approve of the\u200b Colorado State \u2062Supreme Court&#8217;s decision\u200c to exclude Trump from the ballot, \u2064including\u200c 84% of Democrats. It&#8217;s not because they believe in the legal theory behind it. It&#8217;s because \u2063they\u200b believe any weapon available to strike Trump must be\u200b utilized.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">They&#8217;re in the same \u2063camp \u2062as Mary\u200b Trump, Trump&#8217;s\u200c niece,\u200d who has made a career out \u200bof bashing her uncle. She <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaite.com\/news\/this-is-amazing-news-mary-trump-cant-contain-glee-at-insurrectionist-anti-american-fascist-trumps-ballot-ban\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">gushed<\/span><\/a>:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Fabulous news today from the Colorado Supreme Court who ruled that Donald Trump,\u2063 yes, Donald Trump, the insurrectionist, anti-American anti-Democratic fascist, who for some bizarre reason is\u200d leading \u2063the Republican nominating contest by 50\u2062 points, is not eligible to be on the ballot for the Republican\u2064 primary in that \u2064state. This is amazing news!<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Joe Biden is fueling \u200dall of this\u200b by\u200d supporting the reasoning behind the Colorado ban. When \u200dasked about the \u2063ruling, he declared \u200bthat Trump was undoubtedly an insurrectionist, which would presumably \u200cdisqualify him from the\u2064 ballot. &#8220;I think that was certainly self-evident,&#8221; Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaite.com\/news\/biden-slams-self-evident-insurrectionist-trump-in-first-comments-on-ballot-ban-decision-hes-doubling-down\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">stated<\/span><\/a>. &#8220;You saw \u2062it all. Now whether the 14th Amendment applies,\u200c I&#8217;ll let the court make \u2064that decision. But he certainly supported\u2062 an insurrection. No question about it. None. Zero. And he seems to\u2062 be doubling down on about \u2062everything.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">No \u200bwonder Republicans are outraged. If Democrats are going\u2062 to argue that the law can be wielded as a weapon \u2014 and that \u2063they are law-abiding citizens\u200b merely\u200c following the law \u2014 then Trump supporters \u2062will also pick up any weapon at their disposal. That&#8217;s why Trump fans\u2063 are increasingly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaite.com\/news\/sign-me-up-for-that-dictatorship-trump-fans-outside-rally-go-nuts-when-asked-if-they-support-day-one-dictator\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">cheering<\/span><\/a>  \u200chis applause line\u200c about\u2063 temporary \u200cdictatorship.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">And if Democrats genuinely seek to bar Trump from\u200d the ballot\u200d nationwide, Republicans will likely do the same. As <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Texas Lieutenant \u200cGovernor Dan\u200c Patrick <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/clips\/2023\/12\/20\/lt-gov-patrick-maybe-we-should-take-joe-biden-off-the-ballot-in-texas\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">stated<\/span><\/a>:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Seeing what \u2062happened in Colorado makes me think \u2014 except we believe in democracy in Texas \u2014 maybe we should take Joe Biden off the ballot in Texas for allowing eight million people\u2063 to cross the \u200bborder \u200csince he&#8217;s\u200d been president, disrupting our state more than anyone else has done in recent history.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">America is indeed teetering on the edge\u200c of\u200b something truly \u2062perilous. Are there \u2064any circumstances under which Republicans will accept a Biden victory \u200dat this point?
