Who is \u2062this idiot?\u2019 I would be so embarrassed,\u201d he continued. \u201cI had everything growing up. I had a beautiful childhood. I had no excuse to f*** my life up. And I did and it made me sick.\u201d<\/span>\n  <\/p>\n<p>\n    <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Stamos entered a 30-day rehab in July 2015. He credits his family for helping him maintain <\/span><br \/>\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/sobriety\"><br \/>\n      <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">sobriety<\/span><br \/>\n    <\/a><br \/>\n    <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, which he discussed in more detail \u2063in his memoir, \u201cIf You\u200c Would Have Told Me.\u201d<\/span>\n  <\/p>\n<p>\n    <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cThey have kept me on this path because going down\u2064 the road\u200c of being sober and taking care\u200b of yourself, everybody tries,\u201d the actor said in October, as The Daily Wire previously \u200d <\/span><br \/>\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/john-stamos-recalls-moment-he-realized-he-had-to-sober-up-and-kick-alcohol-addiction\"><br \/>\n      <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">reported<\/span><br \/>\n    <\/a><br \/>\n    <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. \u201cEverybody does it. You could get going \u200dfor a little while. Then, it\u2019s like,\u2063 \u2018I can drink again.\u2019 So it\u2019s staying on the path is what they mostly do for me.\u201d<\/span>\n  <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p> <\/p>\n<h2> What steps has John Stamos taken to maintain his sobriety and mental health?<\/h2>\n<p><span>  T see it as bottom\u200c. I was \u2064like, \u2018I got to keep going.\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>    <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Stamos had struggled\u2063 with alcohol addiction for years, even before\u2063 the DUI incident. He\u2063 first sought treatment for alcoholism\u200d in 2007, after a two-month stint in rehab. However, he relapsed in\u200c 2010 and again in 2015 after the\u200b DUI.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>    <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In addition to his battle with alcoholism, Stamos\u2062 also dealt \u2064with depression. He revealed that he had been dealing with depression since he was a\u200c teenager and has been taking medication for it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>    <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Today, Stamos is open about his struggles and actively works on\u2063 his sobriety.
