Clark\u2062 penned \u2064an\u2063 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jwc.nato.int\/application\/files\/8116\/6067\/2972\/29-The_JWC_Organizational_Culture-reduced.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">article<\/a> published by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jwc.nato.int\/organization\/who-we-are\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NATO Joint Warfare Centre (JWC)<\/a>, touting the organization\u2019s embrace of <strong>\u201cdiversity\u201d<\/strong> and \u200c <strong>\u201cinclusion,\u201d<\/strong> concepts often used by leftists to justify the \u2064dismissal \u2063of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/oregon-bill-defines-merit-as-those-who-have-received-anti-bias-training-teachers-without-merit-may-be-laid-off\/\" title=\"Oregon Bill Defines \u2018Merit\u2019 As Those Who Have Received \u2018Anti-Bias\u2019 Training; Teachers Without Merit May Be Laid Off\">merit-based system<\/a> \u2064in favor\u200d of one that makes personnel decisions based upon characteristics\u2062 such as race. Clark <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marforres.marines.mil\/Marine-Forces-Reserve-Leaders\/Biography-View\/Article\/522262\/commanding-general\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">previously\u2064 served<\/a> as JWC\u2019s deputy\u200b commander and chief of staff from 2020-2022 and is currently the commanding general of the 4th Marine Division in \u2063New Orleans, Louisiana.<\/p>\n<p>In his article\u200d on JWC\u2019s\u2062 \u201corganizational culture,\u201d Clark commended the organization for <strong>\u201cembracing \u2064diversity as \u2064one of\u200c [its] leadership goals\u201d<\/strong> \u2063and further claimed he \u2064was <strong>\u201cproud\u201d<\/strong> \u2062 the JWC launched a <strong>\u201chuman \u200ccapital-focused programme built upon [its] \u200b commitment \u200cto diversity \u2064and inclusion.\u201d<\/strong> <strong>\u201cThis is because people truly are our\u2062 most important asset in meeting the JWC\u2019s goals and objectives,\u201d<\/strong> Clark wrote.<\/p>\n<p>But the brigadier \u200cgeneral didn\u2019t\u200b stop there. \u2064In the subsequent paragraphs, \u2063Clark wrote that\u2062 <strong>\u201ccommonalities \u200cand differences\u201d<\/strong> \u2064are what <strong>\u201cenable the growth of any organization\u201d<\/strong> and opined that the current security climate doesn\u2019t \u200bdemonstrate the JWC\u2019s\u200c <strong>\u201cneed\u201d<\/strong> for diversity but its <strong>\u201cdemand\u201d<\/strong> for it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn this environment, we\u2063 do \u2062not need diversity. We demand \u2063it!\u201d Clark wrote. <strong>\u201c\u2018Together! \u2063We\u200c make\u2063 NATO better!\u2019,<\/strong> the JWC\u2019s maxim, is exactly about our emphasis \u200con diversity. Because this is how\u200d we will\u200c meet NATO\u2019s evolving requirements, holding on to curiosity, \u2063innovation, and cooperation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Clark is hardly the only notable military official to espouse \u2062support for so-called <strong>\u201cdiversity, equity, and inclusion\u201d<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/tag\/dei\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">DEI<\/a>)-type ideology. Several\u200d of\u200d the service members promoted by\u200c Biden \u2063in recent months \u2064have been caught promoting\u200c leftist philosophies and \u200ccauses \u2014\u200c and in some \u2064cases \u2014 attacking those \u2064who\u200d don\u2019t support such positions.<\/p>\n<p>The Air Force\u2019s Benjamin \u2064Jonsson, for example, <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/08\/18\/biden-air-force-nominee-claimed-white-colonels-are-the-biggest-barriers-to-change-in-the-military\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">penned<\/a> an article in the\u2064 Air Force Times in the weeks following George Floyd\u2019s death\u200b claiming that <strong>\u201cwhite colonels\u201d<\/strong> are the <strong>\u201cbiggest\u2064 barriers\u201d<\/strong> to addressing so-called <strong>\u201cracial injustice\u201d<\/strong> in the U.S. military. Jonsson\u2062 asserted \u2062that\u2064 <strong>\u201c[d]efensiveness is a predictable response by white people to any\u200b discussion of racial injustice\u201d<\/strong> and\u200c that white colonels are <strong>\u201clargely \u2064blind to institutional racism, and we take offense\u2063 to \u2063any suggestion that \u200cour system advantaged us at\u200d the \u2064expense of others.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Navy Rear \u2063Adm. Derek Trinque often <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/09\/14\/meet-the-covid-obsessed-biden-nominee-who-thinks-you-should-suffer-for-not-getting-an-experimental-shot\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">denigrated<\/a> non-leftists, particularly those questioning the government\u2019s unscientific \u2064Covid response.\u200c On Aug. 17, 2021, for example, Trinque <strong>\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ExposingBiden\/status\/1702102716988731610?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">endorsed<\/a>\u201d<\/strong> \u2064 an Aug. \u200c2, 2021, article from <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.ph\/ZfQSU\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The New York Times<\/a> \u2062encouraging insurance companies\u2063 to \u2062 <strong>\u201cpenaliz[e]\u201d<\/strong> people who didn\u2019t receive the Covid\u2063 jab. He also criticized Tennessee Gov.
