However, the latest \u200bHarvard\/Harris Poll, released recently, has truly shocked us.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">According to this poll, \u2064the majority of the American public seems to be rational and sane. Well, at least most of \u200cthem. The older generation seems to be doing fine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">But it&#8217;s the younger \u200dgeneration that&#8217;s causing concern. Something needs to be\u200d done about them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/harvardharrispoll.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/HHP_Dec23_KeyResults.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Harvard\/Harris poll<\/a> reveals that while \u2062a \u200bsignificant majority of\u200b every age group agrees \u200bthat the October 7 terror attack, which \u2062resulted in the slaughter of 1,200 Israelis\u2064 and the kidnapping of 240 more, was a genocidal\u200b act of terror, around 60% of individuals aged\u200b 18 to 24 believe that such an attack can be justified based on the grievances of Palestinians.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Let that sink in: Even though two-thirds of 18- to 24-year-olds acknowledge that Hamas&#8217; terror attacks were genocidal, six out of ten still believe that these attacks\u200d can be justified.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">And it gets\u200c worse.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Every age group in America,\u2062 except for 18- to 24-year-olds,\u200d supports Israel over Hamas. The \u200bolder \u2063you are, the less likely you are to \u200dside with Hamas. In fact, among those \u2063aged 65\u200b and older, 96% oppose Hamas. However, \u2063among the younger generation, the numbers \u2064are evenly split: 50\/50.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">But\u2064 wait, \u200dthere&#8217;s more.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">When asked whether students \u200don campus who call for\u200c the genocide of Jews should be punished for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/department-of-education-investigating-seven-schools-over-antisemitism-and-islamophobia-allegations\/\" title=\"Department of Education investigating seven schools over antisemitism and Islamophobia allegations\">violating university rules<\/a>, the majority of Americans from all\u200b age groups say yes. And once again, the older you are, \u200cthe more \u2063likely you\u200b are to agree. This isn&#8217;t because Americans are against free speech. It&#8217;s because they understand that every form of speech is regulated on campus, so why should genocidal Jew-haters be exempt?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Everyone seems to agree with this, except for 18- to 24-year-olds. They believe that while such speech \u200bis\u2063 considered \u200b&#8221;hate speech,&#8221; 53% of\u2062 them think students should be &#8220;told they are free to call for genocide.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Yes, it&#8217;s shocking to discover that young people are not fragile when it comes \u200dto advocating for \u200bthe death of Jews.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/episode\/ep-1871-the-most-disturbing-poll-in-recent-memory-member-exclusive\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WATCH: The Ben Shapiro Show<\/a><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">And it gets even worse.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">While \u2062a strong majority of young people, \u200daround 70%, agree that Israel is making efforts to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/israel-war-over-1-million-people-ordered-to-evacuate-from-northern-gaza-un-says\/\" title=\"UN: 1M+ people in northern Gaza ordered to evacuate due to Israel war.\">avoid \u200bcivilian casualties<\/a>, and 58% believe that Hamas desires to\u2064 commit genocide, a staggering 76% of young people\u2063 think\u200d that negotiating with Hamas can lead to peace, despite\u2064 their \u2064clear goal of \u200cdestroying Israel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">But here&#8217;s the kicker: 51% of \u206218- to 24-year-olds believe that &#8220;the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/sexual-consent-app-idea-draws-criticism-in-australia\/\" title=\"Sexual Consent App Idea Draws Criticism In Australia\">long-term solution<\/a> to the Israel-Palestinian conflict&#8221; is to &#8220;end Israel and give it to Hamas and the Palestinians.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">That&#8217;s right. Young \u2063people acknowledge that Hamas is genocidal, engages in \u2063human rights abuses, \u200dand commits \u2062heinous atrocities regularly. \u200dAnd yet, they want\u2062 Israel to be \u200bdestroyed and handed over \u2063to Hamas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">So, why do these young people hold such disturbing views?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Thankfully, the \u200dpoll provides an answer.\u2062 On page 56, \u200dAmericans were asked whether they support or \u2063oppose the ideology that white people are oppressors and certain groups should be favored\u2062 due \u200bto historical oppression. The majority of Americans, 65%, oppose this ideology.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">However, young people \u200dhave a different perspective. A staggering 79% of them support this ideology. Only a slim majority of 25- \u200dto 34-year-olds disagree with it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This ideology is \u2062the reason\u200d behind the younger generation&#8217;s animosity\u2063 towards Israel.\u2062 According to the\u2064 same\u2064 18- \u2063to 24-year-olds, Jews are part of the oppressor \u2064class. Around 67% of them\u2063 believe that &#8220;Jews as a class\u2063 are oppressors and should be treated as oppressors.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The\u2064 evil of critical race theory, or as it \u2064is now called, diversity, equity, and \u2063inclusion, \u2064is evident in these disturbing \u200bviews.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">These numbers among \u200byoung people shouldn&#8217;t come as a surprise. The coalition formed by Barack Obama, which focused on supposedly marginalized\u200d groups (primarily \u2063racial and sexual minorities), is strongest among \u200bthe \u200dyounger generation. Only 52% of 18- to 24-year-olds in America are \u2063white, and a\u200d significant portion of Generation Z identifies as LGBTQ+.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">However, demographics don&#8217;t \u200cdetermine destiny. For \u200binstance,\u200d Hispanic voters in Florida are increasingly leaning towards the Republican party. Regardless \u2062of demographics, young people should reject these \u2063misguided \u200cbeliefs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">But the core philosophy of the Left, which revolves around the\u200d oppressor\/oppressed \u200dnarrative, focuses solely\u200c on \u200bgroup identity.\u200d If you belong to a minority group (except for Jews and\u2062 Asians trying to get\u200c into college), you are considered a victim. As the radical Left gains influence, \u200bit&#8217;s no surprise that the \u200dgrowing minority identity is \u200cfueling anti-white sentiments.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This indoctrination has been going on for three generations, and it has become an integral part \u2063of \u200bthe Democratic Party&#8217;s playbook. Currently, there&#8217;s a battle within the party between moderates and radicals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The \u2064moderates believe that \u2063the \u2063system can be reformed to accommodate the\u2063 demands of marginalized individuals, \u2064but they don&#8217;t advocate for its obliteration. The Biden administration falls into this category; they talk about equity but don&#8217;t seek to implement it in the radical ways\u2063 desired by \u200dthe extremists.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On the other hand, the radicals \u200dview the moderates as weak and foolish, using\u2064 them as\u2062 tools to push \u2063their \u200dagenda. That&#8217;s why\u2064 the New\u200d York Times suddenly champions free speech,\u2064 but only when it comes to \u2062students calling for Israel&#8217;s destruction. According\u200b to the\u2064 Times, &#8220;Universities are under \u200dtremendous pressure to stamp out antisemitism, but some say that is causing fear and curbing free expression.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Of course, free speech has never been a priority\u200c for the Times. In fact, former op-ed page editor \u2064James \u200bBennet recently wrote a scathing essay for the \u200dEconomist, criticizing the Times for its illiberal bias and its inclination to \u2062shut down debates.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">But suddenly, the Times is concerned about free speech. The grandparents, who lived in Jerusalem during the 1973\u2062 war, are staunch Zionists. However,\u200b their children, who\u200d identify as &#8220;progressive Zionists,&#8221; have a more liberal perspective. Their daughter \u200dand son now\u2063 despise Israel and wish for it to cease being a Jewish state. This problem isn&#8217;t unique to Jews; it&#8217;s a generational issue across the\u2063 Western \u200bworld. Liberal parents raise radical children who exploit their parents&#8217; weakness\u2064 to dismantle the entire system. And the parents, like\u200b the Wirtschafters, weakly nod their heads, proud of their children for standing up for\u2064 their\u200b beliefs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">But what if those beliefs involve viewing white people and Jews as\u200b oppressors? The majority \u2063of Americans, regardless of age, still support Israel over \u200dHamas and oppose \u200cgenocidal \u200bspeech.\u2063 However, the fact that \u2063a significant portion of the younger generation holds these\u200d views is \u2064concerning and demands attention.<\/p>\n<p>The indoctrination of critical race theory\u200c and the emphasis on group identity and victimhood culture \u2063contribute to the radical beliefs\u200d we \u200bsee among young people today.
