Or the ones who \u201ctreated\u201d mental illness and other medical \u2062problems <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/what-is-lobotomy-how-performed-why-2023-6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">with<\/a> lobotomies, purveyors of what\u200c ultimately\u200c became\u2062 \u201cone \u200dof the most criticized\u200c medical \u200dprocedures in history.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3>History repeating itself<\/h3>\n<p>History \u200bseems to be repeating \u200ditself within the medical\u200b profession, which \u2014 when it comes\u2062 to \u2063gender politics \u2014 is \u2064being driven\u2064 by \u200dpolitical correctness and\u200c critical gender theory, instead \u200dof biology and science. Doctors are\u2062 using harmful, experimental, and permanently disfiguring \u201cmedical\u201d\u2062 procedures instead of trying to treat \u2062the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/national-counseling-organizations-push-transgender-ideology-on-mental-health-professionals-in-schools\/\" title=\"National Counseling Organizations Push Transgender Ideology On Mental Health Professionals, In Schools\">underlying mental health conditions<\/a> \u200bof their \u200bpatients, something that leads to an \u200bincreased risk\u2062 of suicide and medical complications.<\/p>\n<p>Why?\u200b Perhaps because they\u2019re earning a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailysignal.com\/2023\/12\/07\/only-beginning-lawsuits-detransitioners-rise\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fortune<\/a> \u200ddoing it:\u200d $2.1 billion in\u2062 2022.<\/p>\n<p>These physicians need a remedial American history lesson in\u2062 some of the most shameful \u2062and damaging episodes of misdiagnosis and mistreatment by \u2062their profession\u2019s ethically challenged \u200dpredecessors.<\/p>\n<h3>The Tuskegee Experiment and lobotomies<\/h3>\n<p>The Tuskegee Experiment, officially known as the \u2062\u201cTuskegee Study of Untreated Syphilis in the Negro Male,\u201d was a heinous medical project started\u2064 in 1932 at the Tuskegee Institute by the U.S.\u200d Public Health Service that\u200b didn\u2019t end until 1972. It involved \u200c600 black men, 399 of whom had syphilis, a progressive, deadly disease. In order to \u201cstudy\u201d the long-term effects of the disease, these men were enticed to participate with free medical\u200b exams, meals, \u200dand burial insurance.<\/p>\n<p>But\u200c the \u200bpatients were deliberately and intentionally not\u2063 treated \u2064for syphilis. Instead, they were unknowingly given placebos instead of the effective treatment\u2063 developed for \u200bthe disease by the early\u200d 1940s \u2013 penicillin. As a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.history.com\/news\/the-infamous-40-year-tuskegee-study\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">result<\/a>, the subjects \u201cexperienced\u200c severe health \u2064problems \u2062including blindness, mental impairment \u2013 or\u2063 death,\u201d as did many of their\u2064 infected wives and \u200dchildren.<\/p>\n<p>And then there were lobotomies, which involve severing the connection \u2063between the frontal lobe and other parts of the brain, resulting in significant changes \u200din personality and occasionally in severe \u2063and permanent brain damage. They became <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/what-is-lobotomy-how-performed-why-2023-6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">popular<\/a> \u200d\u201cstarting in the mid-1930s and \u200dthroughout the \u201940s to treat everything from schizophrenia, depression, \u200dand anxiety\u200c to ulcerative colitis and intractable pain.\u201d Not only were there no <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/tennessee-gop-proposes-bill-to-ban-public-drag-shows-medical-transition-of-minors\/\" title=\"Tennessee GOP Proposes Bill to Ban Public Drag Shows, Medical Transition of Minors\">long-term medical studies<\/a> to justify such radical surgery before physicians started using \u200dthis \u2062surgical mutilation \u2062to treat patients,\u200b but \u200bit often \u2064caused \u201cepilepsy,\u200b personality defects, chronic headaches, seizures, permanent disability, or\u2063 even death.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The gruesomeness of this surgical intervention was\u200b graphically illustrated by Jack Nicholson\u2062 and \u2064Louise Fletcher as Nurse \u200bRatched \u2064in the Academy Award-winning 1975 film, \u200b\u201cOne Flew Over the Cuckoo\u2019s Nest,\u201d and\u200b by Jessica Lange in \u201cFrances\u201d (based on \u2064the \u2063real-life story of actress Frances Farmer).<\/p>\n<h3>The new victims<\/h3>\n<p>In our gender-obsessed \u200dage, the \u2064new\u2064 Tuskegee \u200band lobotomy victims are the indoctrinated,\u2063 social media-obsessed, gender-confused children who increasingly find themselves \u2062subjected to what amounts\u2063 to a grand\u2062 medical experiment. So\u200b little is known \u200dabout <a href=\"https:\/\/my.clevelandclinic.org\/health\/treatments\/21526-gender-affirmation-confirmation-or-sex-reassignment-surgery\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cgender affirming\u201d<\/a> medical \u2064interventions \u2014 \u2064from \u200dremoving sex\u200b organs,\u2064 to fashioning faux organs, to chemical\u200b castration and more \u2014 that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-12299393\/Portland-surgeon-dubbed-Dr-Frankenstein-reveals-drawbacks-genital-ops-trans-adolescents.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dr. Blair Peters<\/a>, a self-described\u2063 \u201cqueer surgeon\u201d in Oregon,\u200d acknowledged on video the significant complications associated with these procedures. He\u2064 admitted that\u2064 doctors like him were \u2064\u201cfiguring out what works\u201d \u2064as they went along.<\/p>\n<p>The \u200brevealing video was later taken down.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGender \u200daffirming\u201d surgery\u200d involves\u200d the creation of \u2064false \u201cneo-vaginas\u201d from penis and scrotum tissue, the creation \u200cof faux \u201cpenises\u201d from the forearm \u200band inner thigh skin of\u2062 young women, and even\u2064 the complete removal of a \u201cnon-binary\u201d minor\u2019s\u200d genitals, an \u2064increasingly popular procedure known as \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-12299393\/Portland-surgeon-dubbed-Dr-Frankenstein-reveals-drawbacks-genital-ops-trans-adolescents.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">nullification<\/a>.\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emra.org\/books\/transgender-care-guide\/surgeries-and-complications#:~:text=Complications%20of%20this%20procedure%20include,the%20blood%20supply%20is%20interrupted.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Complications<\/a> include incontinence, bleeding, infection, tissue necrosis, loss of sexual\u2063 function, and more. Critically, these procedures provide <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thepublicdiscourse.com\/2020\/09\/71296\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">no actual mental \u2064health or \u200cmedical benefit<\/a> \u2014 thereby\u200c debunking the prevailing narrative that \u2064\u201cgender confirmation\u201d procedures\u200d are \u201clifesaving care.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Frankensteinian gender &#8220;medicine&#8221;<\/h3>\n<p>Gender \u201cmedicine,\u201d \u2063like the \u2063Tuskegee experiments and \u2064surgical lobotomies, is Frankensteinian. \u200cThey are experimental. They solve nothing. \u2062And\u200c they displace better and safer\u200c medical practices to suit current cultural fashions.<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s more,\u200c minors are particularly vulnerable to the social manipulation and contagion of the\u2064 gender medicine industrial complex. Children don\u2019t reach <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC3621648\/#b5-ndt-9-449\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">full cognitive maturity<\/a> until around <a href=\"https:\/\/psycnet.apa.org\/doiLanding?doi=10.1037%2F0003-066X.55.5.469\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">age 25<\/a>. So, a manufactured gender identity \u201ccrisis\u201d targeting minors under the\u2063 age of 18 for gender \u201caffirming\u201d procedures \u200cis particularly suspect considering their inability to meaningfully\u2064 consent and understand the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/young-americans-must-lead-the-way-in-opposing-additional-covid-shutdowns\/\" title=\"Young Americans Must Lead The Way In Opposing Additional COVID Shutdowns\">long-term consequences<\/a> of their decisions.<\/p>\n<p>Several European countries that once uncritically embraced \u201cgender-affirming care\u201d for minors have backed off their previous positions \u2063as the lack of\u200b evidence supporting the safety of these procedures is revealed, \u2062and the evidence of negative long-term health consequences accumulates. In the United States, the FDA is <a href=\"https:\/\/aflegal.org\/america-first-legal-sues-bidens-fda-for-illegally-hiding-records-regarding-the-off-label-use-of-puberty-blockers-and-cross-sex-hormones-on-children\/#:~:text=WASHINGTON%2C%20D.C.%20%E2%80%93%20Today%2C%20America,cross%2Dsex%20hormones%20on%20children.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">being sued<\/a> for allegedly concealing records regarding \u2062the off-label \u2062use of puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones on minors.\u2064 Nearly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hrc.org\/resources\/attacks-on-gender-affirming-care-by-state-map\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">two\u200c dozen states<\/a> \u2063 have enacted laws prohibiting \u200c\u201cgender-affirming\u201d interventions for minors and medical malpractice claims by\u2064 victims are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailysignal.com\/2023\/12\/07\/only-beginning-lawsuits-detransitioners-rise\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">multiplying<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The writing is on the wall. Making\u2062 permanent \u2064decisions about their gender identity and undergoing invasive \u200cprocedures at such a young age is not only medically irresponsible but also ethically questionable.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, \u200bstudies have shown that the majority \u2063of children with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/nonprofit-gender-nation-donates-thousands-of-inclusive-books-to-elementary-schools-in-san-diego\/\" title=\"Nonprofit \u2018Gender Nation\u2019 Donates Thousands of \u2018Inclusive\u2019 Books to Elementary Schools in San Diego\">gender dysphoria eventually outgrow<\/a> it and identify with their biological \u2063sex as they grow older. The rush to prescribe \u2062hormone treatments and perform surgeries on these children denies them the opportunity\u200b to explore their identities and may lead to regretful decisions\u200b later in life.<\/p>\n<h3>Moving towards a more ethical approach<\/h3>\n<p>It is crucial that we reevaluate the current approach to gender dysphoria. Instead of rushing into irreversible medical interventions, \u2063doctors should focus\u200c on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/former-soldier-alleges-army-punished-him-after-suffering-ptsd-from-afghanistan\/\" title=\"Ex-soldier claims Army punished him for PTSD after Afghanistan.\">providing comprehensive mental health care<\/a> to these vulnerable patients. Therapy, counseling,\u2064 and support systems should be prioritized in order to address the underlying psychological\u2064 issues that may contribute\u2062 to \u2064their feelings of dysphoria.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, more research and long-term studies are needed to understand \u200bthe effects of hormonal\u200d treatments \u2062and surgical interventions\u200c on \u200byoung bodies and minds. The\u200d medical community should not be driven solely by political correctness \u2064or trendy theories, but rather by\u200d evidence-based practices that prioritize the well-being and long-term health of their patients.<\/p>\n<h3>The judgment of history<\/h3>\n<p>In the future, when looking back at this era of ideologically motivated doctors\u2064 who surgically mutilated their gender-confused juvenile patients and fed them hormones \u200cand drugs with \u200ddangerous long-term effects, history\u200d will likely judge \u200dthem harshly. Just as we now condemn the Tuskegee Experiment\u200b and the era \u2063of lobotomies, these practices will be seen as grievous violations \u200bof\u200d medical \u200dethics and human rights.<\/p>\n<p>It is our responsibility to hold\u2062 these doctors accountable and demand better for the vulnerable individuals who are being subjected to these\u2064 harmful procedures.
