To 2.3 billion Christians, there can be no more sacred\u2064 site than where their Savior was born but they don\u2019t have it anymore.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd yet, no Crusader\u200b army has geared up to take it back.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Maher continued \u200chis monologue by delving into history, the changes that have occurred in \u2062nations, and who \u2063controls them.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThings change,\u201d he\u200b said. \u201cCountries, boundaries, empires. Palestine was\u200d under the Ottoman Empire for 400 years, but today, an ottoman is something you put under\u200b your feet.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe city of Byzantium became the\u200d city of Constantinople, [which] \u200bbecame Istanbul.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Irish \u200chad the \u200centire island to themselves,\u200b but the British were starting an Empire, and \u2064well, the Irish lost their tip,\u201d he joked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWas it unjust\u200b that even a single Arab family was\u200d forced\u200c to move upon\u2062 the founding of the Jewish state? Yes. But it\u2019s also not rare \u2014 happening all\u200c through history, all over the world, and mostly what people do is make the best of it,\u201d Maher said, pointing out <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/youtuber-and-investor-turned-ca-gov-candidate-talks-future-schools-solving-homelessness-crisis-and-more\/\" title=\"YouTuber And Investor Turned CA Gov Candidate Talks \u2018Future Schools,\u2019 Solving Homelessness Crisis, And More\">multiple nations<\/a>\u200c and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/white-house-releases-list-of-president-trumps-accomplishments-and-it-is-historic\/\" title=\"White House Releases List of President Trump\u2019s Accomplishments \u2013  And It Is Historic!\">ethnic groups<\/a> that have changed in \u200bdemographics due\u200b to conflict \u200bor war.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter World War II, 12 million ethnic Germans \u2063got shoved out of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/russia-bans-international-lgbt-movement-country\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Russia<\/a>, and Poland, and Czechoslovakia. A \u2063million Greeks were shoved out \u200cof Turkey \u2062in 1923, a million Ghanaians out of Nigeria in 1983, almost a million French out of Algeria in 1962. \u2064Nearly a million \u2064Syrian refugees moved to Germany eight years\u200d ago. Was that a\u2064 perfect fit?\u201d \u200che asked.<\/p>\n<p>Maher even brought \u2063up <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/beginning-look-like-fatal-outbreak-came-mexico-children-5x-likely-die\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mexico<\/a> further along in his monologue, whose borders used to extend up to the top of California.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut no Mexican is out there \u200dchanting, \u2018From \u2062the Rio\u200d Grande to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/portland-city-council-deliberates-750-million-climate-investment-plan-amid-rampant-crime-drugs-homelessness\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Portland<\/a>, Oregon,&#8217;\u201d \u200dhe said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd no one knows more about being pushed off land than the Jews. Including being almost wholly kicked out of every Arab country they \u2062once lived\u2062 in,\u201d Maher pointed out, reminding his viewers \u200bof how Tevye the Milkman\u2019s family in \u201cFiddler on the Roof\u201d had to keep moving because of the \u200dCossacks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey coped,\u201d Maher said. \u201cBecause sometimes, that\u2019s all you can\u2062 do. History is brutal and humans \u2063are not good\u200d people. History is sad and full\u2063 of wrongs, but\u2063 you can\u2019t make them un-happen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Maher \u2064pointed out that while many\u200c act as if colonization was only done by white Christians, much of the world was actually colonized\u200c by followers of \u200cIslam.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNobody was a\u200c bigger colonizer than the Muslim army that \u200dswept out of the Arabian Desert and took over\u200b much of the world in a single century.\u2062 And they didn\u2019t do \u2062it\u2063 by asking. There\u2019s a reason Saudi Arabia\u2019s \u2064flag is a sword. Kosovo was the\u2063 cradle of Christian Serbia, then it became Muslim. They fought a \u2064war about \u2064it in the \u201990s, but stopped. They \u2064didn\u2019t keep it going for\u200b 75 years,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Making a more recent\u200d point, Maher then talked \u2063about the fact that Palestinians had multiple chances\u200b to have peace \u2014 and a \u2062lot more land than they\u2063 have right now.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere were deals on \u2063the table to share the land called Palestine. In 1947, \u201993, \u2062\u201995, \u201998, 2000, 2008,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd East Jerusalem \u2062could have \u2063been the capital of a Palestinian\u2063 state that today might look more \u2064like Dubai \u200cthan \u2062Gaza. [Former Palestinian President Yasser] Arafat was offered 95 percent of the West Bank, and \u200bsaid, \u2018No.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In his direct manner, Maher spoke to\u2064 Palestinians, telling them that Palestinian leaders and \u201cuseful \u2062idiots on college campuses\u201d were not doing them any favors by \u2063propagating the \u201cfrom the river to the sea\u201d myth.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI mean, where do \u200dyou think\u2063 Israel is \u200dgoing?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSpoiler alert: Nowhere,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s one \u2064of the most powerful countries in the world with the\u200d 500-billion-dollar economy, the \u2062world\u2019s second largest tech sector after Silicon \u2064Valley, and nuclear \u200bweapons. They\u2019re here, they like their bagel with a shmear, get used to it,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Maher then said the quiet part\u200c out loud, noting that while what is \u2063happening to the Palestinians is \u201chorrible,\u201d the reason Palestinians never accepted the deals they were given is because \u200bthey want \u201call of it,\u201d not \u200cjust the \u2064West Bank,\u2062 which was the original UN \u200dpartition deal\u200b they rejected.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause you wanted all of it and \u2064always have. Even though, it\u2019s indisputably also the Jews\u2019 ancestral homeland.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd so, you attacked and lost. And attacked again and lost. And attacked again and lost.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs my friend, Dr. Phil, says,\u201d Maher continued, \u201c\u2018How\u2019s that working \u2064for you?&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Maher put into words history and reality in one\u200c solid eight-minute monologue, bringing\u200d it around to the \u200bsimple truth: Palestinians don\u2019t \u2064want peace. They want to end all Jews.<\/p>\n<p>They say they want the Jews to \u201cgo back where they came from\u201d but while some Jewish people did live in Europe, many of them were thrown out from Muslim nations.<\/p>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org\/jewish-refugees-from-arab-countries#google_vignette\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jewish Virtual Library<\/a>, in 1945, around 1 million Jews lived without incident in the various Arab states of the \u200bMiddle East.<\/p>\n<p>After the\u200b 1948 partition \u2063plan announcement, however,\u200c Arab governments\u200d turned against their Jewish citizens. Jews in Egypt,\u2063 Iraq, Libya, Morocco, Syria, Yemen, and other \u2063nations \u2062faced state-sanctioned riots, violence, arrests, and freezing \u200dof assets.
