They wanted to exclude all the white people.<\/p>\n<p>To that end, the mayor\u2019s\u2063 staff sent out a bunch of \u2064emails addressed to \u201celecteds of color,\u201d which is yet another example of the fact that Leftists are simply \u200dincapable \u200dof speaking English. They\u2019re well on their way to creating \u2064their own \u200blanguage at this point.<\/p>\n<p>But there was a problem with this party. By mistake, \u200cthe mayor\u2019s office sent out invitations to all of Boston\u2019s city council members, including the white devils. It wasn\u2019t just \u201cElecteds \u2062of Color\u201d who got an invite, seven white people got one, too. In an administration\u2064 that cared \u200cabout the Constitution, or basic morality, this would \u200cbe a highly embarrassing episode. The mayor would apologize for discriminating on\u200d the basis of race and resign. But that\u2019s\u2062 not what happened in this case.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, \u200bWu apologized \u2014 not for the discrimination, but for accidentally sending the invitation to \u200cwhite \u2064people. She says that was the only error\u2064 she made. Watch:<\/p>\n<p>The mayor also clarified that this \u201cElecteds of\u2063 Color\u201d\u200d party has been \u2062going on \u2064for several years, and it\u2019s only now \u200bbeen discovered because of the mistake that her \u200cstaff made. So rest easy, the\u200c racial discrimination \u200cis nothing new. That\u2019s the position of \u200bthe mayor\u2019s office.<\/p>\n<p>Whatever you make of that, there are a few legal experts who \u200chave suggested it might violate Massachusetts \u2064law, which doesn\u2019t allow government\u2064 officials to use city resources to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/de-blasio-moves-to-end-nycs-gifted-and-talented-school-programs\/\" title=\"De Blasio Moves To End NYC\u2019s \u2018Gifted and Talented\u2019 School Programs\">enforce racial segregation<\/a>. The Massachusetts Public Accommodations Act bars officials from, \u201cmaking any \u200bdistinction, discrimination, or restriction in admission to or treatment in\u2063 a place of public\u2062 accommodation\u200c based on race.\u201d \u2064This event was held at the Parkman \u2064House, which is owned by the city, although it\u2019s not open to the\u200b public.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/episode\/ep-1279-racial-segregation-is-making-a-big-comeback-thanks-to-the-left\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WATCH: \u2064The Matt Walsh Show<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>Maybe that\u2019s the \u201cout\u201d here. Maybe \u200dthe mayor can say that it\u2019s legal to discriminate on the basis \u2064of race, as long as  <\/p>\n<h2> Why has Mayor Michelle Wu&#8217;s racially segregated holiday party sparked\u2063 backlash and criticism?<\/h2>\n<p><span>  Of\u2063 color,\u201d\u2062 inviting them \u2063to the exclusive event. According to the Daily Wire\u2063 article,\u2064 the invitation explicitly stated that the\u200d party was meant to celebrate \u201cthe amazing work that has \u200cbeen done by electeds of \u200ccolor this year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Naturally, this exclusionary approach has sparked a\u200c tremendous amount of backlash and criticism. Many\u2063 people, both within and outside of Boston, have expressed their disappointment and outrage at\u2063 the mayor\u2019s decision to host such a racially\u200d segregated event. Numerous commentators\u2064 have argued that\u200d this kind \u200cof exclusive gathering only serves to further \u2062divide communities and perpetuate racial tensions.<\/p>\n<p>It is\u2064 important to \u200dnote that this incident is \u2063not the first\u2063 time \u2062that Mayor Michelle Wu has faced controversy regarding her handling of race-related issues. When she was elected as the first\u2062 Asian-American \u2064and first female mayor of \u2063Boston, she promised to \u200cprioritize diversity, inclusion, and\u200c equity. However, her actions seem to contradict these \u2063promises.<\/p>\n<p>One of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/half-of-americans-say-biden-did-something-illegal-regarding-hunter\/\" title=\"Half of Americans believe that Biden engaged in illegal activities related to Hunter.\">major\u200c concerns raised<\/a>\u200c is the impact this party has on the unity and cohesiveness of the city council itself. By excluding a certain group of elected officials based on their race, the mayor \u2064is creating an atmosphere of\u2064 division and\u200d favoritism. This can lead to mistrust among council members and hinder \u2064the collaborative work \u2064necessary \u2063for the effective governance of Boston.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, this racially segregated holiday \u2063party undermines the very essence of \u200bequality and fairness that our \u200csociety strives to achieve. It sends a message that race should be\u2064 prioritized over qualifications and abilities, which \u200cgoes\u200d against the principles of meritocracy. By focusing \u200bon accomplishments rather than \u200crace, such an event would have promoted a sense of unity\u200c and cohesiveness among elected officials.<\/p>\n<p>In response to the backlash, Mayor Michelle Wu has\u200b issued a statement defending her decision to host the racially segregated holiday party. \u200bShe claims that the event was meant \u200bto create \u200ba \u2062safe space for\u200c non-white council members to\u2063 share their experiences and discuss racial equity issues.
