Safer neighborhoods mean\u2062 safer\u2063 cities and \u2064towns. Safer cities and towns mean safer \u2063counties and \u200dstates. A safer country leads\u200d to prosperity and stability for all.<\/p>\n<p>Why, then, \u2064would\u2064 progressives\u2063 promote same-sex marriage and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/christian-school-battles-gender-identity-law-forces-hiring-lgbt-teachers-faiths-offer-critical-support\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LGBT ideology<\/a>,\u200d abortion, the sexualization \u2064of youth, and career over \u2062family and children?<\/p>\n<p>In religious terms, \u2062it must be a hatred of the God. In sociological terms, \u2063it is a hatred of Western civilization.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/ifstudies.org\/ifs-admin\/resources\/reports\/ifs-strongerfamilies-final-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IFS study<\/a> \u200b will fuel the hatred \u200dthat is the essence of the progressive left.<\/p>\n<h3>The Impact of Family Structure \u2062on Crime Rates<\/h3>\n<p>Theories about the cause of crime generally focus on \u201csocial structural factors,\u201d according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/intact-families-are-key-to-lower-crime-study\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Washington Examiner<\/a> article on the IFS study. These factors include poverty, the presence of law enforcement, and unemployment.<\/p>\n<p>The IFS study determined\u2062 that \u201ccore social institutions\u201d\u2064 such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/small-town-sees-two-churches-hit-arson-attacks-single-night\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">churches<\/a>, schools, and \u2014 most importantly \u2014 the family \u2064significantly impact crime rates in communities.<\/p>\n<p>The institute analyzed data from more than 600 cities focusing on crime, violent crime, and homicide. It found that \u201cfamily structure is one\u200d of the strongest,\u200b if not the strongest, predictors of \u2026 urban violence across cities in \u2064the United States.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to the IFS, in cities with higher levels of single-parent households, \u201cthe \u2063national violent crime rates are 118% higher, and homicide \u2063rates are 255% higher in cities with prominent \u200dlevels of single-parent households.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It said the\u2062 conclusion holds even when \u201cfactors\u2062 such as race, education, and poverty\u201d \u200care taken into consideration.<\/p>\n<p>In <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/venezuelan-migrants-become-victims-chicagos-rampant-crime\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chicago<\/a>, the study found, \u201cneighborhoods with higher\u200b levels\u200b of single parents had\u2064 226% higher violent crime rates and 436%\u2063 higher \u2064homicide rates than neighborhoods with more\u200d intact families. Given\u200b this, policymakers should be aiming to \u200dstrengthen families by taking steps \u2014 like teaching the \u2018success sequence\u2019 and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/intact-families-are-key-to-lower-crime-study\/\" title=\"Study shows intact families reduce crime rates\">eliminating marriage penalties<\/a>\u200c in our means-tested programs \u2014 that shore up\u2062 the cultural and economic foundations of family life.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>The Importance of Fathers and Traditional Values<\/h3>\n<p>Churches and schools are under attack\u200d by forces that seek to demonize \u2062traditional values \u2062by conflating them with bigotry and\u200b oppression. Progressive teachers \u200cand church leaders promote LGBT ideologies\u2064 that, left unchecked, would destroy the traditional family \u2014 the foundation of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-yale-student-climbs-giant-menorah-plant-palestinian-flag\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Western civilization<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Mark+10%3A6-9&#038;version=ESV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mark 10:6-9<\/a> \u2063 is \u2064clear, \u201cBut from the beginning of \u2063creation, \u2018God made them male and female.\u2019 \u2018Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the \u2063two shall become one flesh.\u2019 So they are no longer two but one flesh. According to the study, fathers are \u2064\u201cessential role models for their \u2063children, particularly\u2062 their sons.\u201d Fathers model \u201cmale responsibility \u2063and \u2063achievement, how to be suitably assertive and \u200bindependent, and how to relate acceptably to the opposite sex.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Put all of\u2063 this together and a\u2062 good father instills self-control, compassion, and empathy in his son, \u201call of which deter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/hunters-legal-team-hot-water-senator-calls-investigation-unethical-behavior\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">criminal behavior<\/a>.\u201d No surprise here.<\/p>\n<p>Christian\u200c wisdom and common sense go hand in hand. Get rid of one, and the other follows.
