However, its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/bidens-favorite-super-pac-used-illegal-scheme-to-conceal-its-donors-experts-say\/\" title=\"Experts claim Biden's preferred Super PAC employed an illegal strategy to hide donor identities.\">dark money affiliate<\/a>, \u200dFuture Forward USA Action, has managed to\u200b raise over\u2062 $129 million in the \u200csame period. Recent <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/Future-Forward-USA-Action-2022-Form-990.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tax filings<\/a> reveal that in 2022,\u200b almost \u2062all of its \u200dfunding came from just 26 donors, including a generous $15 million\u200b gift \u200cfrom the Soros-funded Open Society\u2064 Policy \u200bCenter. Another significant contribution of $1.5 million came from the Hopewell Fund, a member\u200d of the Arabella \u200dAdvisors \u200ddark \u2064money\u2062 network.<\/p>\n<p>This \u200cfundraising success \u200craises questions about Biden&#8217;s stance on dark money. Despite repeatedly calling it a \u2063threat to democracy and endorsing efforts to limit its \u2064influence,\u2063 Biden has recently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2023\/07\/14\/us\/politics\/biden-future-forward-super-pac.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">embraced<\/a> Future Forward and its dark money affiliate as the primary super \u200dPAC supporting his 2024 campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Caitlin Sutherland, executive\u200d director\u2064 of\u200c Americans for Public Trust,\u200c criticized Biden for aligning with \u2062such a massive dark money operation for his political benefit.\u2064 Sutherland stated, \u2064&#8221;Hypocrisy \u200clike \u2062this only lowers \u2062trust in our elected officials. It\u2019s no surprise that after this dark money \u200dgroup spent tens of millions to support him, Americans\u200c still\u2064 remain unconvinced by \u2063Biden\u2019s agenda.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3>Future \u200dForward&#8217;s Close Ties to Dark\u2062 Money Affiliate<\/h3>\n<p>Future Forward&#8217;s operations \u200care closely intertwined with \u200bits dark money affiliate. Federal Election Commission\u200c records reveal that the super PAC has no employees of its own and relies on cash infusions \u2063and donated time \u2062from Future \u200cForward \u2063USA Action&#8217;s staff to keep \u2063running.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, Future Forward leaders do not seem to differentiate \u2064between the super PAC and its \u2064<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-super-pac-faces-complaint-over-donor-concealment-scheme-financial-discrepancies\/\" title=\"Biden Super PAC Accused of Concealing Donors, Financial Discrepancies\">dark\u2063 money affiliate<\/a> \u2062when speaking to the press. \u2062In July, a spokesman for the super\u2063 PAC \u2063 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2023\/07\/14\/us\/politics\/biden-future-forward-super-pac.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">claimed<\/a> they had raised $50 million \u200bduring the first half of 2023.\u2063 However, subsequent FEC <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fec.gov\/data\/receipts\/?committee_id=C00669259&#038;two_year_transaction_period=2024&#038;data_type=processed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">filings<\/a> revealed\u200b that the dark money affiliate raised almost all of that \u200damount, leaving only \u200c$11,000\u200d for the super PAC.<\/p>\n<h3>Legal Issues and\u200b Lack\u2062 of\u200b Transparency<\/h3>\n<p>Future\u2064 Forward USA Action \u200bhas faced legal issues and a lack of\u200b transparency. \u200bIn\u200d August, \u200cthe group <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/democrats\/bidens-favorite-super-pac-quietly-alters-incriminating-financial-disclosures-following-free-beacon-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">altered<\/a> \u200bits 2021 taxes shortly after the <em>Free \u200dBeacon<\/em> \u200dreported discrepancies in its original reporting\u2063 and its \u200dapparent use of an illegal scheme to\u200b conceal donors.
