Version: 4.0.47--><p>Television host Piers Morgan called \u201cbulls***\u201d on his guest \u2014 a doctor in Britain\u2019s National Health Service\u00a0 \u2014 for referring to the October 7th massacre as \u201can act of resistance\u201d and claiming that Hamas was not a terrorist organization but a group of \u201cfreedom fighters.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Morgan posted a clip from the interview on his show, \u201cPiers Morgan Uncensored,\u201d with NHS Dr. Wahid Asif Shaida, to social media with the caption, \u201c\u2018How can you, a British NHS doctor, say that\u2019s a \u2018welcome punch on the nose\u2019?\u2019 Piers Morgan vehemently challenges Dr Abdul Wahid for his comments about the Hamas attacks on Oct 7.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">&#8220;How can you, a British NHS doctor, say that&#8217;s a &#8216;welcome punch on the nose&#8217;?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Piers Morgan vehemently challenges Dr Abdul Wahid for his comments about the Hamas attacks on Oct 7.<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/piersmorgan?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@piersmorgan<\/a> | <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TalkTV?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@TalkTV<\/a> | <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/PMU?src=hash&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#PMU<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/Bj4eiQBfDd\">pic.twitter.com\/Bj4eiQBfDd<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Piers Morgan Uncensored (@PiersUncensored) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PiersUncensored\/status\/1734313347317662085?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 11, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Morgan began with a clip from another interview in which the doctor referred to Hamas terrorists as the \u201cbrave Mujahideen\u201d and called the deadly October 7th attack on Israeli civilians a \u201cvery welcome punch on the nose.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Morgan asked how he, as a doctor with the NHS, could refer to Hamas\u2019 unrestrained brutality against women and children as \u201cresistance.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow can you categorize a terror attack \u2014 in which 1,200 mostly innocent civilian people were brutally attacked, raped, tortured, beheaded, and murdered \u2014 how can you, a British NHS doctor, an NHS doctor in Britain, how can you say that\u2019s a \u2018welcome punch on the nose\u2019?\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" aria-describedby=\"sk-tooltip-9096\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp&#038;source=gmail&#038;ust=1700760801843000&#038;usg=AOvVaw2PQrVSrJfhxNb4LcARqniG\">CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Dr. Shaida said he would answer the question, but only if Morgan agreed to let him give his full response \u2014 which the host said he would do.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI will be frank, I\u2019ll be as concise as I can be,\u201d Shaida said. \u201cBut if you give me the courtesy of letting me answer fully.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Morgan once again agreed, and Shaida began, \u201cI will defend the right of the Palestinians to resist an occupation. When you look at that \u2014\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s not resistance, that\u2019s terrorism!\u201d Morgan objected.<\/p>\n<p>Shaida pivoted slightly, suggesting that October 7th only seemed like terrorism if one believed that the history of the conflict between the Israelis and the Palestinians had only begun that day. He then complained that the word terrorism itself had become too \u201cpolitical,\u201d but Morgan brought the conversation back to the topic at hand.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou can be deeply sympathetic to the plight of Palestinian civilians, which I am by the way and have expressed many times,\u201d Morgan said. \u201cWhat you can\u2019t do is be weaselly-mouthed about what happened on October the 7th. That was a grotesque terror attack.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Shaida continued to complain about the \u201cpoliticization\u201d of the word terrorism, and Morgan finally asked him directly: \u201cDo you think what happened October the 7th was a terror attack?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Shaida pushed back again, calling it \u201cresistance.\u201d He went on to cite the Islamic \u201cstandard in conflict\u201d which did not allow the killing of children or women or mutilation of those they did kill \u2014 and Morgan immediately pointed out that Hamas had done all of those things and more.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf anybody did that \u2014\u201d Shaida said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat do you mean, \u2018if\u2019?\u201d Morgan practically shouted back. \u201cThey literally broadcast it on their own streaming platforms!
