This Christmas season, we owe a debt of gratitude \u2064to MSNBC for drawing attention to \u200dthe\u200c serious issue of spreading \u200cfascism in America.<\/p>\n
MSNBC hosts Mehdi Hasan<\/a>, whose show has since been canceled<\/a>, and\u2063 Joy Reid<\/a> gave\u2063 the Article\u200d III Project, the conservative legal group<\/a> I \u200clead, a platform the likes of which\u2063 we could\u200b only dream\u200c of two weeks ago. Hasan targeted me, along with the Article III Project, for demanding we follow laws and protect our homeland\u200b from both foreign \u2063and domestic threats through means such as deporting terrorist-supporting \u2063visa holders and denaturalizing terrorist-supporting naturalized citizens. Reid, who\u2019s long been a fan of weaponizing the federal government\u200c to target\u2062 conservatives, believes it\u2019s fascist to enforce the rules on \u2062our books\u200b for policing immigration, securing our borders, and preventing another 9\/11\u200d or 10\/7 terrorist attack.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

By casually \u200bsmearing us alongside others in\u200c the MAGA movement with the\u2062 \u201cfascist\u201d label in such a lazy \u200cfashion, Hasan and Reid have unwittingly opened up\u200b themselves and the Biden\u2062 regime they submissively defend to an honest debate, for which we are grateful. In\u200c so doing, they created a teachable \u2064moment to\u200d explain what fascism actually means and who are\u200c truly the real American fascists. When we examine our current culture and politics, it \u200dwill become clear to fair-minded Americans\u200d that the real American fascists are, in fact, the Biden Democrats.<\/p>\n
Core Tenets of Fascism<\/h2>\n
According to MSNBC, Article III\u200d Project stands for and believes in fascism and its principles, along with countless \u200dother\u200b MAGA Republicans. In reality, their assertion fails to pass a series of simple reality checks.<\/p>\n
First, where do\u2064 we stand on promoting nation and race above the \u2064individual, one of the core tenets of fascism? Think about it.\u2062 On one side,\u200b we \u2062have MAGA Republicans who reject racial identity politics \u2062in favor\u2062 of \u2063the individual. For many of \u2063us, a belief in the primacy \u200dof individuals stems from a belief in God. This \u200dis why we oppose American children being taught critical race theory<\/a> and other dangerous Marxist ideologies in school. If we are all born with equal dignity, then race does not and cannot control us. But <\/p>\n
How does the \u200baccusation of promoting white supremacy<\/a> and fascism relate to the belief in enforcing the rule of\u200b law and prioritizing \u2062the safety and security \u200dof our nation?<\/h2>\n
Identity politics, accused me of promoting white supremacy and fascism\u2063 simply because I believe in enforcing the rule \u2062of law and prioritizing the safety\u2063 and security \u2064of our nation.\u2063<\/p>\n
It\u2062 is both disappointing and \u2063concerning to see such \u200bbaseless\u200b accusations being thrown around by supposedly reputable journalists. \u200dAs a conservative \u2064legal group, the Article III Project\u2063 advocates for the strict \u2064interpretation of\u200b the Constitution and the preservation of our democratic institutions. \u200dWe believe in \u2062upholding the principles\u200d that have \u2062made America the\u200b land \u2064of opportunity and freedom \u2062that it is \u2064today.<\/p>\n
The suggestion that\u200c our organization\u200c supports or spreads fascism\u200c is not only \u2063false but also dangerous. Fascism is \u2062a vile\u2062 ideology that stands in direct contradiction \u200cto the principles upon\u200b which our nation was\u200d founded. It undermines individual\u2064 liberty, suppresses dissenting \u200dvoices, and\u2062 denies fundamental\u200c human\u2063 rights. To suggest that\u200b the Article III Project, or\u2063 any conservative organization, embraces such a destructive ideology is a blatant \u200cmisrepresentation of \u200dour values and goals.<\/p>\n
By attempting to label those \u200bwith \u200ddiffering ideologies as fascists, MSNBC hosts like Mehdi Hasan and Joy Reid are not only engaging in a smear campaign but also undermining the credibility of legitimate concerns about the rise of extremism in \u2062our society. It is \u200bessential to have\u200c honest\u200d and open discussions about the challenges we face, but these discussions must be grounded in reality, not\u200b baseless \u2062accusations and inflammatory rhetoric.<\/p>\n
The Article III Project\u2062 exists to promote Constitutional\u200d conservatism, which includes respecting the rule of law and protecting the rights and freedoms of all Americans. We \u200cbelieve in\u200c the power of reasoned debate and the importance\u200d of diverse perspectives. \u200bIt is through civil discourse and respectful dialogue that we\u2062 can find common ground<\/a> and\u200d work towards constructive solutions for the benefit of our country and its citizens.<\/p>\n
We\u200b urge MSNBC and other media \u200doutlets to prioritize responsible journalism and to refrain from spreading false\u2062 narratives that \u2063only \u200bserve to \u2064further divide \u2062our society.
