According to a source, the ad campaign was \u200cconceived\u2062 in July and\u200b the \u200cphotos were \u200btaken in September, well before the \u200battacks occurred. There was no hidden message or agenda behind the campaign, contrary\u2063 to what some\u200d may believe.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, Zara\u2063 has been the victim \u2064of photoshopped \u2062images\u200d circulating online, which were edited \u2063to make\u2064 the\u200b campaign \u200cresemble the\u2064 Gaza\u200c attacks. However, the retailer has \u2064made it clear that none of these\u2064 manipulated images were created by them.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to \u2064iNews, Zara admitted that the timing of the campaign was unfortunate, given the \u2062events that unfolded\u200c in October. They \u2064acknowledged that it \u200cwas a case of bad timing and expressed regret\u2062 for \u2064any offense \u200bcaused.<\/p>\n<p>One \u2062of the photos in the campaign features\u2062 supermodel Kristen McMenamy carrying\u200d a mannequin draped in\u2063 white cloth. This particular image has drawn \u200bcomparisons to the victims \u2063of \u2062the Israel-Hamas \u200bwar, as they are often wrapped in white cloth for burial.<\/p>\n<p>As a result \u200bof the controversy, Zara has reportedly removed \u2062the photos of &#8220;The Jacket&#8221; ad campaign from the front page of its website.
