He specifically\u2064 addressed the \u2064recent charges\u200b against Hunter Biden for tax \u2063evasion and\u2064 filing \u2063false returns, with\u2064 Biden&#8217;s lawyer suggesting that the charges are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/he-hates-me-what-you-should-know-about-the-new-york-judge-assigned-to-trump-case\/\" title=\"He \u2018Hates Me\u2019: What You Should Know About The New York Judge Assigned To Trump Case\">politically motivated due<\/a> to his family name.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;Well,\u200d if \u2062his name was anything other than Biden, he wouldn\u2019t be\u200d able to\u200c <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/jack-smith-swears-donald-trump-will-pay-for-joe-bidens-crimes\/\" title=\"Jack Smith insists that Joe Biden's wrongdoings will not go unpunished, as Donald Trump will hold him accountable.\">bilk millions<\/a> from foreign entities,\u200b so let\u2019s start there,&#8221; \u200cRomney stated.\u200b &#8220;Not only \u2062did he take all of \u200cthis money from foreign\u2064 entities, trading on his father\u2019s name, which is ugly and unsavory, he then didn\u2019t pay taxes\u200c on \u200bit according\u200d to the prosecutors, and we\u2019ll see if they \u2064can prove that case, but if they can, he violated \u200bU.S. law and should \u2064be severely punished for having done so.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Despite his criticism of\u200b Hunter Biden,\u2063 Romney \u2064clarified that he has not seen\u2063 any evidence linking President Biden to his son&#8217;s alleged crimes.\u200c When asked about his stance on\u200b an impeachment inquiry, Romney\u200c explained that he\u200c would vote against it in the\u2063 House unless there\u2062 was substantial\u200c evidence of high crimes and misdemeanors.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;I think\u2062 before you begin an impeachment inquiry, \u2064you should have some\u200d evidence, some inclination that there is wrongdoing, and so\u2064 far, there\u2019s nothing of\u2064 that nature that has been provided,&#8221; Romney emphasized. &#8220;But look, fortunately, for \u2062most people, we&#8217;re \u200dnot responsible for the misdeeds of our kids, our grandkids, \u2063our great-grandkids \u2014 nothing in my family I&#8217;m \u2063embarrassed about. But President Biden\u2019s son\u2062 Hunter has obviously \u200cbeen a\u200b very \u200bunsavory person and \u2062had some extremely damaging personal \u2064foibles, including a drug habit and so forth. \u200dThat&#8217;s not President Biden, and we&#8217;re not going\u2063 to impeach someone because of the sins\u2063 of their kids.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Romney&#8217;s previous votes to\u2062 impeach former President Donald Trump were also mentioned. It&#8217;s important to remember that \u200cPresident \u2062\u200cBiden has only been in office for a few months, and\u200b there is currently no evidence\u2063 \u200cto suggest \u2064that \u200bhe was involved in or\u2062 aware of \u2062his son&#8217;s alleged \u2063crimes.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Sen. Romney&#8217;s stance comes amidst a growing divide among Republicans on \u2064whether an impeachment inquiry should be launched against \u200cPresident \u200cBiden. Some \u200dargue that the allegations against Hunter \u2062Biden should be thoroughly investigated, while others, like\u200c Sen.
