Yes the \u200bentire state is\u2062 a degenerate\u200b cesspool covered in sewage, but at least it provides plenty of content for the last segment of my show.\u2064 And today the good news is they have done something so stupid that it graduates to the first segment. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">As the Daily \u200bMail reports \u2062this week, in a little over a month from\u200d now a \u2062new law will \u200bgo\u200d into \u200deffect \u200din \u2064California. Is this a law to address the\u200c homeless problem? Is it a \u2063law meant to clean up\u200d the streets, tamp\u200c down on the rampant\u200c crime, and make communities safe\u2063 and \u2062livable again? No, of course \u200cnot.\u2064 Why would California\u2019s lawmakers care about any\u2063 of that?\u200d No, this is a law that \u200daddresses a far more pressing concern: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/calif-proposes-gender-neutral-toy-sections-candace-owens-slams-bill\/\" title=\"Calif. proposes gender-neutral toy sections, Candace Owens slams bill\">gender-neutral toy sections<\/a>. \u200d <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We know leftists see the toy \u2063industry like they\u200d see \u200deverything: an ideological \u200bbattleground, another politicized arena to defeat traditional concepts of gender and usher in a new ambiguous dystopia where kids can live \u2062as amorphous, genderless blobs of nondescript matter.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">California retailers that refuse to have\u200b a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/newsom-signs-law-requiring-gender-neutral-toy-sections-at-large-retailers\/\" title=\"Newsom Signs Law Requiring Gender-Neutral Toy Sections At Large Retailers\">gender-neutral section<\/a>\u200d for\u200d children will be fined up \u200bto $500 under <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/gavin-newsom\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Gavin Newsom\u2019s<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  new bill. \u2063The ultra-woke governor signed legislation\u200c in 2021 that would require some retail\u200b stores in the Golden\u2064 State \u200bto have a gender-neutral section for children. Retailers would \u2062have to \u200cdo this \u2064\u2018regardless of whether \u200dthey have been traditionally marketed \u200bfor either\u2063 girls or for boys,\u2019 \u2062the\u200c bill said. The legislation, Assembly Bill No. \u206410584, will be \u2063enacted \u2062on January 1, 2024, and if retail department stores choose not to comply, they will have to dish out a civil penalty of $250 or $500. Department \u2064stores that are subject to the new \u2062laws will have \u200dto have a total of 500 or more employees, be physically\u2063 located in California and sell \u200d\u2018childcare items or toys\u2019\u2026 Californian Democratic Congressman Evan Low backed the bill to the Associated Press \u2018We need\u200d to stop\u2062 stigmatizing what\u2019s acceptable for\u200d certain genders and just let kids \u200bbe kids,\u2019 he said. \u2018My hope\u2064 is \u2062this\u200d bill encourages more businesses across California\u200b and\u200c the U.S. to avoid reinforcing harmful and outdated\u2064 stereotypes,\u2019 \u2064Low said.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">So, the \u200dlaw will end \u200cthe segregated, Apartheid-like conditions in toy\u200b stores \u2064in \u2062the state, getting rid of gender labels and allowing toys\u200c to express their true,\u200c gender-fluid\u200d identities. This is all meant to reduce \u201charmful stereotypes.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/episode\/ep-1275-california-lawmakers-focus-on-what-matters-gender-neutral-toys\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WATCH: The Matt Walsh Show<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You may be wondering, if you\u2019re a sane \u200cperson, how exactly does the \u2062average toy section in the average \u2064store \u201creinforce \u2064harmful stereotypes\u201d? In fact,\u200c you may be wondering \u2064what a \u201charmful stereotype\u201d even is, or\u200b how a stereotype can be harmful. Literally all gender stereotypes \u2014 and race stereotypes, and ethnic stereotypes \u2014 are grounded in\u200b truth. That\u2019s how they became stereotypes. Which is why you have\u200b never in \u2063your life \u2062heard a \u200dstereotype about a group of people and said to yourself,\u200d \u201cWhat? I\u2019ve never seen anyone\u2064 in that group act\u2062 THAT way!\u201d Stereotypes arise when we notice that certain \u2063groups\u200c of people tend to act certain ways, generally speaking. This isn\u2019t \u2064harmful. \u200cIt\u2019s mostly neutral. It just is what it is. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Fortunately, California\u200c state Representative \u200cEvan \u200cLow goes into more detail about this \u2062issue, trying \u2062to explain how and\u2064 why \u201cgendered \u200dtoys\u201d are dangerous: <\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Part \u2063of it is to\u2064 make sure\u2063 if you\u2019re a young\u200b girl that you can find a police car, fire truck, a periodic table or a dinosaur. And then similarly, if\u200d you\u2019re a boy, if you\u2019re more artistic and \u200bwant to \u200cplay with glitter, why not?\u2062 Why should you feel the stigma\u2064 of saying, \u2018Oh, this should \u2064be \u2064shamed\u2019 and going \u2062to a different location?<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">First of all, \u200bthis is perhaps \u200cneither \u200bhere nor there, but as a parent, \u2064I believe glitter should be shamed for both boys and girls. Glitter is a plague that\u200c has been banned from my house entirely. Glitter\u200b manufacturers \u200bshould be raided by \u200bthe FBI,\u200c forcibly shut down, and all \u2062of their employees thrown in federal prison. Even just one ounce of glitter will\u2063 produce a mess \u2063in your house\u200c that can never be cleaned up. A glitter spill is like Chernobyl \u200c\u2014 you\u2019ll still be dealing with the after-effects three decades later. The stuff is cursed, \u200dand should be banned. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Anyway, aside from that,\u200d it appears\u2064 Evan Low is\u200c laboring under the impression \u2063that, without this law \u2063in\u2064 place, \u2064girls were somehow\u2063 physically prohibited from entering the aisles where fire trucks and dinosaurs are sold.\u2062 Or maybe he \u200cthought\u200b these items were hidden down some deep labyrinthine corridor where only those with Y chromosomes were allowed \u2064to enter. But\u2063 this was not the case. Without the gender-neutral \u2062toy \u2064law, girls were easily able \u2062to find fire trucks and\u2063 police cars if they wanted them. And\u2062 there was nobody stopping them, or\u200b standing there \u200dpointing \u2064and laughing at them and \u2063saying, \u201cWhy are you buying that?\u2063 You\u2019re a girl!\u201d That literally has never happened in\u2064 the history\u2064 of toy purchases. \u2063 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This bill is, at the very best, totally unnecessary. Which ironically  <\/p>\n<h2> How might\u2062 gendered toy sections restrict children&#8217;s \u200dimaginations and limit their options for play?<\/h2>\n<p><span>  O justify the need for gender-neutral toy sections. He argues that gendered toy sections restrict children&#8217;s\u200c imaginations and limit their options for play. According\u2063 to Representative Low, these \u2063sections\u200c reinforce traditional gender norms and stigmatize children who do not conform to them. He believes that removing gender labels\u2062 from toy sections will create a more \u200dinclusive\u2062 and accepting environment for children.<\/p>\n<p>However, this argument fails to acknowledge the natural differences between boys and \u2063girls. Boys and girls have different interests and preferences when it\u2064 comes to play. It is not inherently\u200d harmful or\u2062 discriminatory to \u200backnowledge these differences and provide separate toy sections for boys and girls. In fact, \u200bmany parents and\u2063 children \u200bappreciate having these distinctions\u2062 to easily\u200c find toys that align with \u200ctheir interests.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the notion of gender-fluid identities in\u200d young children is a controversial one. While it is important to support \u200band accept individuals who identify as transgender or non-binary, it is also important to recognize that children&#8217;s\u200c understanding of their own gender identity is still developing. Forcing gender-neutral toys on children may confuse or disrupt their natural exploration of gender.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, California&#8217;s lawmakers seem to be focusing on \u200dtrivial issues rather than addressing significant\u200b problems in the state. California is currently facing a homelessness crisis, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/portland-doctor-who-was-brutally-attacked-holds-city-accountable\/\" title=\"Portland doctor attacked, seeks justice\">rising crime \u2063rates<\/a>, \u200band a struggling education system. These are\u200c the issues that should be prioritized and addressed by the state&#8217;s lawmakers, not the arrangement of toys in retail stores.<\/p>\n<p>In \u200bconclusion, California&#8217;s \u2064new \u200claw mandating gender-neutral toy\u200c sections is a misguided and unnecessary imposition on retailers. It fails \u2062to consider the natural differences between boys and girls and disregards \u200bthe importance\u2064 of individual preferences and choices.
