The disapproval rates are even more pronounced among adults aged 30\u2064 and under.<\/p>\n<h3>Key Findings:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>41% of adults disapprove \u200dof Biden&#8217;s handling of the conflict, while 35% approve and 24% are unsure.<\/li>\n<li>Among adults under\u200b age 30, the disapproval rating jumps\u200b to 46%, just two months after the crisis began.<\/li>\n<li>Only 19%\u200d of adults aged 30 and under approve of Biden&#8217;s leadership during\u200c the war,\u200b with 34% unsure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This\u2064 is a concerning \u200cdevelopment for\u2064 the Biden reelection\u2063 campaign, as\u200d foreign policy has taken center stage while the president struggles to engage young voters and voters of\u2063 color\u2064 ahead of the 2024 election.<\/p>\n<p>However, older adults have a more favorable view of the Biden administration&#8217;s handling of the conflict. Adults\u200d aged 50-64 are split in their \u200bjudgment, with 38% disapproving, 39% approving, and 22% unsure. Adults aged 65 and older view Biden more favorably, with only 37% disapproving, 50% approving, and 13% unsure.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the survey reveals that more than half of Republicans\u200d (51%) disapprove of Biden&#8217;s handling of the war, while only 28% approve. Among Democrats, 44% approve and 33% disapprove.<\/p>\n<p>The public is divided on whether Biden is\u200d striking \u200dthe right tone in dealing with Israelis\u2063 and Palestinians. 25% believe he is striking the right balance,\u2064 21% think he favors Israelis too much, 38% are unsure, \u2063and 16% believe he\u200d favors Palestinians too much.<\/p>\n<p>The conflict between\u2063 Israelis and Palestinians has also sparked disputes within the Democratic Party, with progressive members calling for a\u2062 ceasefire and accusing Israel of committing genocide\u2064 against people in\u200d Gaza.<\/p>\n<p>According to Pew Research, 45% of Democrats believe Israel \u2063is going too\u2063 far in its \u2064military\u200d operation against Hamas, compared to only 12% of Republicans.
