Yet the \u200blight glows on, as it will tonight.<\/p>\n<p>For it is Hanukkah, the \u2062Festival \u200cof Lights that recalls the miracle of \u2064the lamps that burned \u2062for eight days when there\u200d was not enough <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/royal-family-feuding-distracts-from-the-sacred-nature-of-coronations\/\" title=\"Royal Family Feuding Distracts From The Sacred Nature Of Coronations\">consecrated oil<\/a> for them to do\u200c so \u2014 a legend from the \u200cdays when the Maccabees took back Jerusalem from\u2062 the \u2064Seleucid King Antiochus IV back in 164 B.C. Days long gone, and yet perhaps not, when Jewish people had\u200d to\u2063 fight for \u200cwhatever they wished to hold of this Earth. For generations, \u200britual and remembrance have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/kirk-cameron-and-brave-books-rally-thousands-in-library-event-across-46-states-absolutely-incredible\/\" title=\"Kirk Cameron and Brave Books gather huge crowds in library event across 46 states: 'Amazing!'\">brought families<\/a> together to celebrate their heritage and thank God for \u200dtheir blessings.<\/p>\n<p>This year, Hanukkah comes on the day a few \u2014 a very few \u2014 recall the horror of Pearl Harbor, as if to remind us that the \u2064war between good and evil that roiled the\u2062 world in World War II \u2062will never\u2062 end.<\/p>\n<p>For this \u2063year, claws of anti-Semitism have gouged an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/rush-limbaugh-laid-to-rest-at-private-ceremony-in-missouri\/\" title=\"Rush Limbaugh Laid To Rest At Private Ceremony In Missouri\">indelible mark<\/a> of death the world has not seen since the days of\u2063 Hanukkah 1945 when emaciated skeletal survivors with camp tattoos stark against the pallor\u2062 of their skin gathered \u2064with other survivors of the Holocaust to hope that never again would being Jewish carry \u200ba death sentence; that some place would be\u2063 safe.<\/p>\n<p>Amid hate running wild,\u200c as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/u-n-works-out-deal-with-taliban-to-continue-aid-for-afghan-people\/\" title=\"U.N. works out deal with Taliban to continue aid for Afghan people\">families gather<\/a> to recite ancient blessings, some will be missing.<\/p>\n<p>Noya Dan was 12. She pictured herself looking like Harry Potter, battled whatever prejudice goes along with the word autism, and lived a life of promise until <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/christmas-decorations-jesus-birthplace-torn-bethlehem-casts-lot-hamas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hamas<\/a> came to her kibbutz\u2062 to kill. It \u200bis a time when \u200dfamilies come together, not only to light\u2062 candles and exchange\u200d gifts, \u200dbut to reaffirm their\u2062 resilience and determination to keep their traditions alive. The menorah, with\u200c its eight candles, stands as a symbol of resistance and \u2062perseverance, reminding\u2062 us that even in the face of unimaginable darkness, the light can never be fully extinguished.<\/p>\n<p>But Hanukkah is not \u2062only a commemoration of the past; it is a call to action in the present.
