In a state of disbelief, she hurried back home to her mother, desperate to know if what she saw was real.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI \u200dasked\u200b my mom, is that even allowed?\u201d Emma recounted to\u200c The Daily Wire.\u200d \u201cAre they, like, really catching children? She said, yes, and I felt very, very scared.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Emma&#8217;s mother, Elana Katzor, grew up in\u2064 Massachusetts but made \u200dthe \u2063decision to raise her children in Israel. However, her husband, who serves in the Israeli Defense Forces, has \u2064been away since Hamas&#8217; brutal attack on October 7. This has left Elana alone with her three young children, all \u200bwhile being pregnant.<\/p>\n<p>Elana admits\u2063 that\u200c the war has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/robinhood-debut-on-wall-street-was-a-massive-disappointment\/\" title=\"Robinhood Debut On Wall Street Was A Massive Disappointment\">completely disrupted<\/a> her parenting philosophy,\u2064 forcing her to carefully choose what information to share with her \u200bchildren.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t lie \u2062to my children \u2014 I am of \u200cthe belief that information doesn\u2019t scare children, but the lack of information scares\u2062 children,\u201d Katzor said. \u201cI didn\u2019t mention the kidnappings \u200bbecause they didn\u2019t ask me. And then all \u2064of a sudden the posters started showing up.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Emma can&#8217;t help but imagine what it\u200b would be like if she were taken hostage herself, \u200dand whether the children held by Hamas are \u2063being properly cared \u2063for.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cDo \u200bthey have\u200b diapers, shampoo? \u2063Do they have clothes? Do they \u200chave supplies? Do \u2064they\u200c have \u2063a house?\u201d she asked. \u200d\u201cIt\u2019s just very scary.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Being\u200c alone with her three young children has been incredibly challenging for Elana. She believes\u200b that the timing of Hamas rocket\u2064 launches, often occurring \u200cat seven, eight, and nine at night, is a form of\u2062 psychological warfare against children.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cOur freedom of movement has been stressful,\u201d she said. \u201cI don\u2019t drive anymore because I\u2019m scared that I\u2019m with three kids, I\u2019m pregnant, there\u2019s a \u2062siren, I have to \u2062pull over to the side of the road.\u2063 I have to manage to\u200c get three kids out of the car on a highway.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt also tends \u2064to happen\u2063 in the evenings right before bedtime,\u201d\u200b Elana said. \u201cBedtime is more scary and it\u2019s their way of terrorizing us.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div id=\"attachment_658173\" style=\"width: 630px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\">\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-658173\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Emma said she was \u200bscared when she saw the\u200c posters of child hostages and had to ask\u200d her mom\u200b if they were real.
