Well, I \u2062mean it was, technically. \u200bSome \u200cpeople used it as a pejorative \u200bterm for the Vietnamese\u200b during the Vietnam\u2064 War. It\u2019s also a term familiar to my fellow bass fishermen,\u2063 used to describe any game fish below 12 inches in length. But in this case,\u200c DINK does not refer to\u200b either Asians or small fish. DINK is an\u200d acronym that stands for\u2062 \u201cdual income, no kids.\u201d These are the childless by choice\u200b folks. Those who get married, and could have kids, but \u200dchoose instead to have a barren, \u2063sterile\u2062 relationship focused entirely on their own superficial wants and desires.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>The DINKs are \u200cgetting a lot \u200dof attention these \u2063days. Especially\u2062 over\u200b the past week. On Monday, Business Insider\u2063 ran a piece titled: \u201cMeet the typical DINK: They have over $200,000 in the bank and aren\u2019t paying \u200bfor pricey childcare.\u201d\u2063 The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/meet-typical-dink-double-income-no-kid-net-worth-retirement-2023-11\">article tells\u200d us<\/a>:<\/h3>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It seems like everyone <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">wants to be a DINK<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  these days.
