Ron DeSantis (R-FL) and former\u2064 United Nations Ambassador \u2063Nikki Haley, but spent more time focused on slamming Biden, the \u200blatest sign that\u2062 the former\u2063 president \u2063has moved his \u200dfocus towards a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/bidens-name-wont-appear-on-new-hampshire-democratic-primary-ballot-due-to-intraparty-spat\/\" title=\"Biden Excluded from New Hampshire Primary Ballot Amid Party Dispute\">general election \u2063campaign<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>GOP SENATORS LOOK TO CRACK \u200cDOWN ON FOREIGN ESPIONAGE\u200b WITH TOUGHER REPORTING REQUIREMENTS<\/h3>\n<p>In one\u200c of his few\u200b attacks\u200d against his GOP foes, Trump hit at DeSantis and Haley for\u200b wanting to &#8220;play around&#8221; with voter&#8217;s social security.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;We have more \u200cwealth than anybody, but we don&#8217;t use it,&#8221; Trump said. &#8220;And\u2063 then guys like DeSantis \u2062and guys, like many of the \u2063Democrats, but guys \u200dlike DeSantis and\u2062 to a lesser extent Nikki Haley, they want\u2064 to \u2064play around with your social security.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Trump also attacked Haley over a New York Times report on Tuesday\u2063 that Reid Hoffman, a Democratic\u200b billionaire co-founder of LinkedIn, gave $250,000 to a Haley super \u2064PAC.\u2064 &#8220;I just found out that Democrats are funding Nikki\u200d Haley&#8217;s campaign,&#8221; Trump mused before also attacking\u2062 DeSantis. &#8220;I\u2063 hear that Democrats are contributing to Ron DeSanctus&#8217;s \u2062or Ron DeSanctimonious, to Ron DeSanctus&#8217;s campaign.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Largely, though, Trump spent \u200cthe majority of the \u200ctown \u200dhall \u200dcontrasting his administration \u200cto Biden&#8217;s \u200cpresidential record. The former\u200c president slammed Biden over the U.S.&#8217;s \u20622021 Afghanistan withdrawal, Russia&#8217;s invasion \u2062of \u200dUkraine, and the \u2062deadly Oct. 7 \u200bHamas attack against Israel.<\/p>\n<p>He also slammed \u2062Biden over domestic problems the nation is facing including\u200b Biden&#8217;s handling a \u200dgrowing\u200b migrant population \u200dat the\u2063 southern border, inflation increasing \u200cthe price\u2063 of groceries and \u200dgas, and the\u200c 91 criminal indictments Trump is \u2064facing. In his harshest critiques, the\u200c 77-year-old \u2063Trump attacked the 81-year-old\u2063 Biden&#8217;s \u200dmental and physical capabilities.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;I personally don&#8217;t think he makes it, OK,&#8221; Trump said when \u2062host Sean Hannity asked if Biden would remain the Democratic nominee in 2024. &#8220;I think he&#8217;s \u200din bad shape physically.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Do\u200b you remember when he \u2064said I&#8217;d like to take him \u200cbehind the barn? If he\u2062 took me behind the \u200bbarn and \u2062I went like this,&#8221; Trump said while \u200bpretending to blow on Biden, &#8220;I believe he&#8217;d \u2063fall over.\u200b &#8230; \u2062Who knows?&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Poll after poll shows the \u2063American public is largely put off by another \u200cTrump v. Biden rematch in 2024. But for Biden, voters are more likely to say his age makes\u200c me less eligible for \u200cthe\u2062 White House compared to \u200bTrump. An August Associated Press\/NORC poll\u2062 showed \u206277% of participants said Biden is too old for another term while only\u200b 51% said \u2064the \u200bsame for Trump.<\/p>\n<p>It increasingly appears that Biden and Trump will faceoff again in 2024,\u200d as Trump leads his rivals by\u2063 double digits in \u200cstate and national polls.\u200b Trump currently polls\u2062 at 61.3% in a RealClearPoltics poll average while DeSantis polls\u2063 at 13.2%\u200c and Haley polls at 10.2%.<\/p>\n<p>The former\u200b president will skip the fourth GOP primary debate Wednesday night in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, as he\u2063 did\u2062 the \u200cfirst three. This time,\u2063 however, \u200bTrump is bypassing\u2062 holding a competing event, opting instead to hold a private \u2063fundraiser in Florida. Trump is hoping for a\u200c strong showing at the Jan. 15\u2062 Iowa caucuses to simultaneously cement the inevitability \u200cof him winning the GOP nomination and stymieing any other rival from gaining momentum heading \u2062into the New Hampshire primary eight days\u2062 later.<\/p>\n<p>The Alabama debate is\u2064 ostensibly one of the last moments in front of a\u2064 national audience DeSantis, Haley, biotech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy,\u2062 and former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie will have \u200cto\u2064 convince GOP voters\u200d to back their campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Trump, however, is largely looking ahead to how\u200d a second term \u200bwould play out for him \u2014 including reversing Biden&#8217;s policies. &#8220;We are going to make our country \u2064greater than ever \u200cbefore,&#8221; Trump during the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/desantis-to-be-interviewed-by-cnns-jake-tapper-this-week\/\" title=\"DeSantis to chat with CNN's Tapper soon.\">town \u2063hall<\/a>. &#8220;Day one the border gets closed.
