Californians are in\u2062 charge of the Treasury, Homeland\u2063 Security,\u200b Labor, Health\u200d and Human Services, and \u2063Energy. \u200cSeveral UC Berkeley graduates are part of Biden\u2019s team. Berkeley has \u200dbeen the country\u2019s ultra-liberal flagbearer since the \u201960s. Radical\u200d ideas that began in ivory \u200ctowers on the Left Coast have made their way into the White\u200b House. Dubbed\u200b \u201cThe West Coast\u200d Avengers,\u201d these Californians are already \u2063shaping \u200bnational policy.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>President Biden\u2019s \u201cBuild Back Better\u201d plan has been called\u200d \u201cMaking America California Again.\u201d Originally slated to cost $3.5 trillion, the bill\u2019s final version was trimmed to $1.2 trillion. It\u2019s now been implemented partially in the Orwellian titled \u201cInflation Reduction Act,\u201d which doesn\u2019t do\u200d anything about inflation but make it worse and hardly does \u200canything about the world\u2019s pollution problem \u200bexcept lard on added costs\u2063 to Americans while letting the Chinese and Indians off the hook.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Biden\u2019s Build Back Better Plan\/Inflation Reduction Act reads like a Left Coast wish list: implementing the Green New \u200bDeal, raising the\u2064 minimum wage\u2064 to $15, and \u200cexpanding \u2063family paid leave.\u2063 It\u2019s no\u2063 surprise that California\u2062 was the big winner: The federal government will spend \u2064more money \u200cin California than\u200b in any other\u200c state. Biden claimed that the plan would pay for itself. The Congressional Budget Office disagreed and\u2062 found Biden\u2019s accounting was only $367 billion off.<\/p>\n<p>California is shaping\u200b the national debate and influencing policy on\u2062 myriad issues, including immigration, energy and climate change, \u200dpublic sector employee pensions, and the \u200dminimum wage. Biden is following Gov.\u2063 Newsom\u2019s playbook of courting\u200c unions by attempting to give them the same \u200dprivileges they\u2064 enjoy in California. The Protect the Right to Organize (PRO) Act was\u2063 the Democrats\u2019 effort at \u200cCalifornicating \u200bthe entire country.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The PRO Act has many of\u2064 the same provisions as\u2064 California\u2019s disastrous Assembly Bill 5. AB\u200b 5 severely restricted \u200bthe use of independent contractors by all businesses in the state. Wait a minute \u2014\u2063 not all companies. \u200bMore than 100 deep-pocketed corporations carved out exemptions for themselves. \u200cUber, Lyft, and other <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/new-round-of-jabs-and-furthering-of-the-covid-19-narrative\/\" title=\"More COVID-19 jabs and narrative expansion.\">ride-sharing apps<\/a> used their\u200b money to fund \u200cand\u200c win Prop 22, exempting ride-sharing\u200b services from the law. Not exempted? Trucking companies, cleaning companies, yoga instructors, tutors, musicians, and freelancers of every kind. AB 5\u200b is anti-business and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/bidens-labor-secretary-nominee-supported-california-law-gutting-independent-work\/\" title=\"Biden\u2019s Labor Secretary Nominee Supported California Law Gutting Independent Work\">anti-independent contractor<\/a>. The PRO Act\u200c has many\u2063 of the same \u200cprovisions as AB 5 and will \u2063hurt small businesses, which are the lifeblood of our economy.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Biden \u200cagain followed Newsom\u2019s lead by stacking \u2064the\u2064 deck in favor \u2062of unions. \u2062Biden encouraged union organizing and collective bargaining with the PRO Act. It\u200c would allow union bosses to collect\u200b dues from members even if they opt\u200d out of \u200bthe union. Incredibly, it would give unions the right to seek arbitration if union organizing drives fail.<\/p>\n<p>Richard Trumka was the president of the AFL-CIO, a \u2063confederation of 57 unions. His remarks revealed \u2063the socialist underpinnings of\u2063 this\u2064 proposed legislation. \u2062Trumka stated, \u201cIf you really want to correct \u2064inequality \u2064in this country \u2062\u2014 wages and\u200c wealth inequality, opportunity and inequality \u200bof power \u2014 passing \u200cthe PRO Act is absolutely essential to\u200c doing that.\u201d The U.S. Chamber of Commerce slammed the PRO Act, stating it would \u201cundermine worker\u2062 rights, ensnare employers in unrelated labor disputes, disrupt the economy, and force individual Americans to \u200dpay union dues regardless of \u2062their wishes.\u201d \u2063Thankfully, Republicans killed this thinly concealed\u2062 union power grab.<\/p>\n<p>Regrettably, the Californication of the\u200d national agenda continues.\u200b Nancy Pelosi led \u200cthe charge \u200das speaker of the House, \u2062and the new minority leader, Hakeem Jeffries, was her\u200b top lieutenant and even more\u2064 left than\u2062 she was.\u200c On the Democrats\u2019 agenda are\u2064 socialist policies germinated on\u200d the Left Coast like guaranteed income, carbon neutrality, and \u2064<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/exclusive-republicans-to-introduce-bill-defining-the-meaning-of-infrastructure\/\" title=\"EXCLUSIVE: Republicans To Introduce Bill Defining The Meaning Of Infrastructure\">universal health care<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Gavin Newsom has turned California\u2063 politics into a \u2062lifestyle brand\u2063 to \u2064sell to woke America.
