But, for the most part, all along, there\u2019s one\u200d thing these activists have been smart enough to do. They\u2019ve\u2062 typically made predictions that were pretty far out into the future. \u2063They didn\u2019t say \u2063anything that could be proven wrong within a couple of months. They knew\u200d enough to create some distance between their\u200c prediction, and the day you could theoretically point to that prediction and say, \u201cWell, that didn\u2019t pan \u2064out.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>There \u2063are a lot of examples of\u2064 this phenomenon. There\u2019s \u200bLeonard\u2064 Nimoy, a.k.a. Mr. Spock, \u2063 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=yCzjSDwGSF8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">claiming<\/a> in a \u200b1978\u200d television\u200d special that, \u2064\u201cduring the lifetime of our grandchildren, arctic cold and perpetual snow could turn most of the inhabitable portions of our planet into a polar desert.\u201d That TV special was called \u201cThe Coming \u200bIce \u200cAge.\u201d Of course, by the time Mr. Spock\u2019s prediction \u2064was falsifiable, he was near death, so no one was going\u2062 to hold\u2063 him accountable, or say \u201cI told you so\u201d \u200dwhile he\u200d was on his \u200ddeathbed.<\/p>\n<p>Then\u200c there was\u2064 that \u200binfamous 1989 <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/bd45c372caf118ec99964ea547880cd0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">article<\/a> from the Associated Press, \u2064citing a \u201csenior U.N. \u200cenvironmental official,\u201d \u200dsaying, \u201centire nations could be wiped off \u200dthe face of the Earth by rising sea \u2063levels if the global warming trend is not reversed by the \u200byear 2000.\u201d Again, they\u2019re putting some \u200ddistance between the prediction,\u2064 and the time you can\u200c prove them wrong.<\/p>\n<p>A NASA scientist did \u2063the same thing in\u2064 2006, when he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/id\/wbna14834318#.XEeySlxKiPo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told<\/a> NBC News \u2064that, \u201cthe world has a 10-year window of opportunity to take decisive\u2063 action on global warming and avert catastrophe.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>More \u2064recently, Greta Thunberg got in \u200con\u200c the action \u200din 2018, \u200dwhen \u2064she <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/steveforbes\/2023\/07\/14\/the-case-of-greta-thunbergs-deleted-tweet---what-alarmists-need-to-hear\/?sh=5ff735b9145c\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">claimed<\/a>, \u201cA <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/greta-thunberg-nixes-tweet-warning-end-of-humanity-if-climate-not-fixed-by-2023\/\" title=\"Greta Thunberg nixes tweet warning end of humanity if climate not fixed by 2023\">top climate scientist<\/a> is warning that climate change will wipe out all of humanity unless we stop \u200dusing\u200d fossil fuels\u200c over the next five years.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In all of \u200bthese cases, the climate\u200b predictions weren\u2019t \u200deven close to \u200cbeing true.\u200b Reality disproved all of them. But it took time for these predictions to\u200d \u201cage \u2063out\u201d\u200c and become clearly false. Most cultists are smart\u2063 enough to design their claims so that they sound highly alarming at the time. And then, by the time you can validate these claims years later, most people have forgotten all about the whole thing.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/episode\/231205me\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WATCH: The Matt Walsh Show<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>A \u2064couple of months ago,\u200d there was a\u2064 very notable exception \u200cto\u2063 this\u200d general rule. \u2064There was \u200ca cult leader \u200cwho slipped \u200cup, and made a prediction that could be proven wrong very quickly.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m talking about this prediction from our climate czar, John Kerry. They\u2019ll say\u200d this is indeed the hottest year ever, and that\u2019s because \u201cMother Earth\u201d doesn\u2019t like your truck, or your grill, or the way you vote. None of these articles \u200bwill mention the recent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/climate-alarmists-panic-over-heat-wave-turns-out-it-was-caused-by-a-volcano\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">volcanic\u2063 eruption<\/a> in the Pacific\u2064 Ocean, which blasted a huge plume of water vapor into \u2062the atmosphere. They \u2063won\u2019t tell you how that \u2062likely trapped heat and raised the global temperatures. Instead, they\u2019ll blame you for all the heat.<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s funny about this premise is, if \u200bwe\u2063 accept it as completely true for the sake of argument, then humans \u200dmust also be responsible for the extremely cold temperatures\u200d that are\u200d also being recorded this year.<\/p>\n<p>It turns out \u2062it\u200c hasn\u2019t been hot \u2062everywhere, contrary to what John Kerry says. Take \u2064a look at what\u2019s happening in Europe right now.\u2063 According to an article from yesterday in\u2064 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/europe\/temperatures-siberia-dip-minus-50-celsius-record-snow-blankets-moscow-2023-12-04\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Reuters<\/a>, for example, \u201cTemperatures in Siberia dip \u200dto minus 56 Celsius as record snow blankets Moscow. \u2026 In the\u200c Russian capital, some \u200dof\u2064 the\u200b biggest snowfalls ever seen on December 3 left swathes of Moscow blanketed \u2064in drifts of more\u2063 than 35 cm of snow in \u200bjust one day.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Most of Central and Eastern Europe was like this last week. They have never \u2063seen \u2063snow like\u2062 this in\u2064 recorded history.\u200b This is supposedly the hottest year ever recorded, and they\u2019re experiencing record \u200csnowfall.<\/p>\n<p>But it gets better. If you want\u2064 decisive proof that irony is \u200cstill alive,\u200d despite every effort by climate activists to quash\u200b it forever, here it is. \u2064The snow was so bad last week that in \u2062Munich, the airport \u2063was completely covered in snow. Private\u200c planes were immobilized and in some cases, \u2062frozen in what\u2062 looks like the take-off position, because snow stacked up on their tail sections.\u200d And reportedly, some \u200cof these planes were supposed to head to the COP-28 climate summit,\u2062 which is\u200c underway right now in \u2064Dubai. You could not \u2064script \u2062this any better.
