By \u2062nature of their convulsive coverage and commentary, we \u200bshould already know it\u2019s not. When one of the\u2062 most authoritative voices \u200din Washington preemptively declares a duly elected president <strong>\u201ca threat\u2062 to the existence of\u2063 America,\u201d<\/strong> how could anyone expect the\u2063 government he would command in the\u2064 same city to comply in any way?<\/p>\n<p>They hardly\u2064 did the first time. Remember <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/03\/21\/3-corporate-media-shticks-about-ukraine-that-you-should-absolutely-ignore\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the dorky bureaucrat<\/a> who listened in on a harmless\u2062 phone call and decided it\u200c was time to kick off an impeachment?<\/p>\n<p>Trump doesn\u2019t need\u200b to literally be killed in order for his opposition to strangle a second term\u2064 (though\u2062 I wouldn\u2019t \u2062put it past them). He only needs to see his victory \u2064nullified by a bureaucracy that resists and a media that justifies every effort in defiance. Yes, even \u2064if it\u2019s\u2062 deadly. \u200b <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/08\/31\/its-too-late-for-corrupt-media-to-decide-political-violence-is-bad\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">They\u2019ve \u200cdone it before<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Courts around the country will\u200d certainly do the same thing, regardless of any legalities. Democrat federal judges will lock up Trump\u2019s second-term policy orders, with only the most barren attempts at rationalizing the rulings if a superior \u200dcourt concurs, great. If\u2064 not, what\u2019s an insurgent jurist got to lose by gumming up the gears and buying time for the next phase of obstruction?<\/p>\n<p>They talk about \u2062a second term like it\u2019s something \u200deveryone should be afraid of,\u200b even as\u200d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-great-politically-for-republicans-to-talk-arizona-election-audit\/\" title=\"Trump: 'Great Politically' for Republicans to Talk Arizona Election Audit\">national polls show<\/a> a majority of voters \u2064willing to vote for it. <strong>\u201cMore than anything else, Mr. Trump\u2019s vow \u2064to use the Justice Department to wreak vengeance\u2062 against his adversaries is a\u200d naked challenge \u200cto democratic values,\u201d<\/strong> wrote The New York Times on Monday. <strong>\u201cBuilding\u2064 on how he tried to get prosecutors to go after his enemies while in office, it would \u200cend the post-Watergate norm of investigative independence from White House\u200c political control.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Whoa! A president \u200cusing his Justice\u2062 Department <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/09\/19\/joe-biden-claims-democracy-is-at-stake-as-his-party-does-everything-to-prevent-democracy-from-happening\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">to\u200c take down his political opponents<\/a>? <strong>Who would stand for such a thing?!<\/strong> In reality, what they\u2019re warning of is a \u200dreckoning for what\u2064 they\u2019ve done. Understandably, they\u200c don\u2019t want that. The \u2062media will enthusiastically cheer them on, portraying Trump as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/buckle-your-seatbelts-for-three-more-years-of-biden-making-the-world-more-dangerous\/\" title=\"Buckle Your Seatbelts For Three More Years Of Biden Making The World More Dangerous\">power-hungry dictator<\/a> who must be stopped \u2063at all costs. This narrative\u2063 will be\u2064 repeated ad\u200d nauseam until it becomes accepted \u2063as fact \u2064by a \u2064significant portion of the population.<\/p>\n<p>But let\u2019s take a step back and\u2064 examine the reality of the situation. Despite the polarizing nature of \u2062his presidency, \u200bDonald Trump was \u200cduly elected by the American people in 2016. He won \u200cthe Electoral College \u200dfair and square, according to the rules \u2064set forth by the Constitution. And for four years, he served as the President of the United\u2063 States,\u2062 implementing\u200b policies and making decisions that some supported and\u200d others vehemently opposed.<\/p>\n<p>If \u2062history has taught\u2064 us anything, it is that the peaceful transfer \u2063of \u200bpower is one of the foundations of democracy.\u2063 Yet,\u2062 the media and the political elite seem \u2064determined to undermine\u2063 this fundamental \u200bprinciple.\u2062 They cannot accept \u2063the fact that their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-jabs-at-vaccinated-fox-news-reporters-attending-whca-dinner\/\" title=\"Biden Jabs At Vaccinated Fox News Reporters Attending WHCA Dinner\">preferred candidate lost<\/a>\u2063 the election, and \u2064they will stop at nothing \u200cto delegitimize Trump and his supporters.<\/p>\n<p>It \u200dis ironic that \u2063those who claim to champion democracy and free\u2064 speech are the ones\u2062 who are \u200dactively working to suppress\u2063 any dissenting voices. They label anyone who disagrees with their agenda as a threat to democracy, \u200bconveniently \u200bignoring the fact that\u200b diversity of opinion \u2062is what makes democracies strong. By silencing those who support \u2063Trump and dismissing their concerns, they are contributing to the erosion of democracy, not protecting\u2062 it.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the\u200b media&#8217;s role in perpetuating this narrative cannot be \u2064understated. They \u200dhave a responsibility to provide unbiased, fact-based \u2064reporting to the public. Yet, time \u2063and time \u2062again,\u200d they have demonstrated their willingness to twist the truth and manipulate public opinion \u2064to\u2062 fit \u200btheir own agenda. \u200bThey have shown\u2064 a blatant disregard \u200dfor journalistic integrity and \u2063have become willing mouthpieces for politicians and\u2063 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/in-ohio-voters-to-decide-how-easily-theyll-let-pro-abortion-interest-groups-change-their-constitution-2\/\" title=\"Ohio voters will determine the level of ease for pro-abortion interest groups to amend their constitution.\">special interest \u200bgroups<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>So, \u200cno, a second Trump term does not pose\u200d a threat to \u2064the existence of America. The real\u200d threat comes from \u200cthose \u200cwho are actively working \u200dto undermine our democratic institutions and silence\u200c any opposition. The true\u2063 danger\u200c lies in\u2064 a media that prioritizes sensationalism over truth\u2063 and a political class \u200bthat is more interested in maintaining power than\u200c upholding the\u2062 principles on \u200dwhich this country\u2062 was founded.<\/p>\n<p>As\u200b citizens, \u200cit is our \u200dduty to remain vigilant and question the narratives presented to us. We must not allow ourselves to be swayed by fear-mongering and propaganda.
