These interviews were part\u200b of an investigation into &#8220;radical-traditional Catholics&#8221; as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/opinion-cnn-doesnt-want-to-hear-anyone-who-sounds-like-you\/\" title=\"OPINION: CNN Doesn\u2019t Want To Hear Anyone Who Sounds Like You\">potential domestic terrorists<\/a>, \u200baccording to \u2064a new congressional \u2063report \u2063released on \u200dMonday.<\/p>\n<p>The report, issued by the House Judiciary Committee&#8217;s Select Subcommittee on \u200cthe Weaponization \u2063of the Federal Government, revealed that the FBI, under President Joe \u200cBiden, had abused its counterterrorism tools to target Catholic Americans. The \u200bagency even\u200b proposed\u2062 developing sources within the \u200bCatholic clergy and church leadership.<\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, while the FBI focused its \u2062attention on traditional Catholics, it failed to apply\u2064 the same\u200d &#8220;domestic terrorism&#8221; label \u2062to\u200d supporters\u2064 of Hamas terrorists who have been responsible for a rise in \u200dantisemitism. Parents who protested Covid lockdowns \u200cand \u2064inappropriate content in\u200d their children&#8217;s schools\u2064 were also \u2064targeted without legitimate basis.<\/p>\n<p>When questioned\u200d about the administration&#8217;s classification of people \u2063making violent antisemitic\u200b threats as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/director-of-research-at-govt-accountability-institute-fbi-corruption-goes-all-the-way-to-the-top\/\" title=\"GAI Research Director: FBI Corruption Reaches Top Levels\">domestic \u2063terrorists<\/a>, the White House responded ambiguously, leaving the\u200b characterization to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-red-wave-of-conservative-women-elected-to-congress\/\" title=\"The Red Wave of Conservative Women Elected to Congress\">law enforcement<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Since the terrorist attack on Israel in \u200cOctober, violent and explicitly antisemitic demonstrators supporting Hamas have terrorized Jewish \u2064Americans. The agency has\u200b previously prosecuted individuals \u2063involved in the &#8220;Unite the Right&#8221; rally in Charlottesville and raided their online communications.<\/p>\n<p>Even \u200dthe presence of a few\u200b Confederate banners at the U.S. Capitol\u200b on January 6, 2021,\u2062 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/theres-hunter-hunter-biden-appears-in-court-for-paternity-dispute\/\" title=\"There's Hunter: Hunter Biden Appears in Court for Paternity Dispute\">garnered significant media attention<\/a> \u200cand\u2062 resulted in prison sentences. This raises serious concerns about the agency&#8217;s priorities and its\u200d commitment to protecting the\u2064 American people \u2063from actual\u2064 threats.<\/p>\n<p>Traditional Catholics, who adhere \u2063to conservative interpretations of Catholic\u2064 teachings,\u2063 have been unfairly singled out \u2063and labeled as \u2063extremists. \u2062This is a clear violation \u200dof their constitutional \u2062rights and\u200c a disturbing abuse of power by the\u2062 FBI.<\/p>\n<p>The report also revealed the FBI&#8217;s intention to develop sources within the Catholic clergy and church \u2063leadership. This indicates a deep infiltration \u2063into\u200d religious organizations, which is a direct infringement on religious freedom.
