Recent polls \u2062have shown Trump leading President Joe Biden in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/review-2000-mules\/\" title=\"REVIEW: \u20182000 Mules\u2019\">crucial swing states<\/a>, causing panic among <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/limbaugh-calling-on-moderate-democrats\/\" title=\"LIMBAUGH: Calling On \u2018Moderate\u2019 Democrats\">liberal media outlets<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In a \u2063<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/nothing-is-a-sacrifice-for-me-serena-williams-announces-her-retirement-from-tennis-explains-why\/\" title=\"\u2018Nothing Is A Sacrifice For Me\u2019: Serena Williams Announces Her Retirement From Tennis, Explains Why\">lengthy article written<\/a> by three \u2063of the paper&#8217;s top \u200cpolitical \u2063reporters, the Times rehashes the \u2062same complaints about \u200cTrump&#8217;s first term in \u2063office. They even go \u200das far \u200das quoting a throwaway line \u2063from a 1989 interview to argue that Trump \u200dhas totalitarian tendencies.<\/p>\n<p>But let&#8217;s not forget that during his presidency, Trump took strong actions against\u2064 Russia, China, and North Korea. He imposed sanctions, tariffs, and spoke out against \u200cdictators. Under his \u200bleadership, there\u200d were\u2064 no new wars, the Iranian\u200b government was brought to its knees, and the Islamic State group was obliterated.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, President Biden \u200bhas been\u2062 soft on\u2062 these dictatorial regimes, allowing them to grow\u2064 in \u2063power. The record \u2063is clear that Trump was much more forceful toward\u200b America&#8217;s authoritarian foes than his successor has been.<\/p>\n<p>And let&#8217;s not \u2064ignore \u2063the hypocrisy of the Times.\u2062 They claim that Trump&#8217;s vow to use the \u200dJustice Department against his adversaries \u2063challenges democratic values, \u2062but conveniently forget the actions of the Biden administration. The Obama-Biden DOJ\u2064 launched an investigation into Trump&#8217;s 2016 campaign, and now Biden&#8217;s\u2064 DOJ is trying\u2063 to put the\u2064 former \u2064president\u200b away for the rest of his life.<\/p>\n<p>The Biden\u2062 administration\u200b has also tried \u2063to equate the Jan. 6 Capitol incident with the Confederacy, but the \u200dtruth \u2064is that no shots\u2062 were fired\u200c and it was far from an insurrection. Most of the protesters \u200cwere peacefully exercising their\u2063 right \u200dto free speech, as Trump had encouraged them\u200c to do.<\/p>\n<p>Despite all this, the \u200dBiden DOJ has launched an unprecedented investigation into the incident, arresting and charging over 1,000 \u200bprotesters. This is\u200b a \u200dclear challenge to democratic values.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s clear that \u2063the New York\u2062 Times is once again \u200cletting their bias cloud their\u2062 judgment. Their \u2064fearmongering and \u200ddistorted narrative only serve to further divide the country.<\/p>\n<h2>Intimidation and Persecution: The Double Standard of the DOJ<\/h2>\n<p>Let&#8217;s call\u200c it what \u2064it really is: intimidation and \u200cpersecution of \u2062political opponents. The New York Times recently published an article expressing panic over the \u200bpotential victory of former President Trump in the next election. But their claims are nothing more than Democratic propaganda.<\/p>\n<p>The \u200barticle highlights\u2064 the actions of\u200d the Department of \u200cJustice (DOJ) under both Trump and Biden. It&#8217;s clear that\u2064 Biden&#8217;s DOJ has \u2062shown a \u2063tendency to target political\u200b foes, while Trump&#8217;s DOJ did not engage in\u200b such behavior.<\/p>\n<h3>A Tale\u200d of \u200cTwo Protests<\/h3>\n<p>The article compares the response of the DOJ to \u2063two different protests: the &#8220;Disrupt\u200d J20&#8221; protests during Trump&#8217;s Inauguration Day in 2017 and the &#8220;social justice&#8221; demonstrations in the summer of \u200c2020.<\/p>\n<p>During \u2062Trump&#8217;s inauguration, violence erupted\u200b on the streets of Washington, D.C. with people smashing car and\u200d store\u200c windows, clashing with\u2062 police, and even\u200c torching a\u200b limo. \u2063More than 200 arrests\u200c were made. However, the DOJ later\u200b dropped \u2064all charges\u2062 against those\u2062 who engaged in violence, without even requiring community service.<\/p>\n<p>In \u200bcontrast, the DOJ&#8217;s response to the 2020 protests was different. Secret Service agents had to rush then-President \u200dTrump to a bunker when rioters broke \u200dthrough the outer security barriers at the White House. Many agents were injured, and property was vandalized. Yet, only 17 people were arrested, most of\u2064 whom were charged with rioting. And even \u200bthen, \u2063the charges were dropped by \u200cprosecutors in\u200b most cases.<\/p>\n<h3>The Double Standard<\/h3>\n<p>It&#8217;s\u2062 clear\u2064 that\u2062 there is a double standard\u2062 when it comes to the DOJ&#8217;s treatment\u2062 of political opponents. Trump&#8217;s \u2062DOJ did not engage in a massive round-up of protesters or target political foes. But Biden&#8217;s DOJ seems to have no\u2064 problem with intimidation and persecution.<\/p>\n<p>The article concludes by stating that if Trump were to clean house\u2064 in the\u2062 DOJ, no one would be able to rightfully\u200c criticize \u2064him.
