Another round of one-time direct payments from the Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend is on its\u2063 way to\u2062 those who have yet to receive their annual payment. Now, it&#8217;s \u2064time for those who had the &#8220;Eligible-Not Paid&#8221; status on Dec. 6 to receive their 2023, or earlier, payment from the program.<\/p>\n<h3>Who Qualifies \u200dfor the Payment?<\/h3>\n<p>To qualify \u2063for a payment from this \u200bprogram,\u200b an applicant must\u200d be an Alaska \u200dresident \u200dwho intends to remain a resident of \u2062the state indefinitely and is\u200c not a convicted felon. \u200cAlaska\u2062 residents can\u2063 apply for these payments from Jan. 1 to March 31 \u2062of each year.<\/p>\n<p>Alaska\u2062 Department of Revenue Commissioner Adam Crum expressed his gratitude to the Permanent Fund Dividend Division for their hard\u200b work in administering the program and processing the\u2064 applications. He highlighted that this\u200d year, they processed over 8,000 more applications than in 2022. The 2023 PFD will inject \u200bnearly $1 billion\u2064 into the state&#8217;s economy and directly into the hands of Alaskans.<\/p>\n<p>The amount sent to \u200dresidents from the Permanent Fund \u200bDividend each year is based \u2062on mineral revenues\u200b for\u200b the state during that year.
