He stands accused of a number \u2064of \u200cother similar crimes,\u2064 where he is alleged to have been misappropriating and\/or stealing funds.<\/p>\n<p>It doesn\u2019t help Santos\u2019 \u200ccase that he seems like a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/george-santos-goes-3-hour-social-media-tirade-airs-alleged-dirty-laundry-colleagues\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">genuine malcontent<\/a> \u2064 who is factually \u200bchallenged, given his past debunked claims about connections \u2063to the Holocaust and the 2016 Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando, Florida.<\/p>\n<p>Given all that, it was \u2063still a seismic\u200c moment in U.S. politics when Santos became the sixth\u2064 individual and\u2063 the first Republican removed from\u200d his position, The \u2064vote was <a href=\"https:\/\/clerk.house.gov\/Votes\/2023691\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">311-114<\/a> on the House floor.<\/p>\n<p>In related news, that means 311 members\u200b of the House apparently have no clue\u2063 how the U.S. justice system works \u200d\u2014 a somewhat alarming development for American lawmakers.<\/p>\n<p>Because Santos\u2019 ouster was also historic in the sense that he is the first \u200bmember of Congress to be\u2064 voted out by his peers despite not actually\u2063 being convicted of a single thing.<\/p>\n<p>As damning as that ethics report is, as it stands, it\u2019s full of \u2063nothing but allegations and\u2062 accusations.<\/p>\n<p>Look, this is not a defense of Santos\u2019 purported \u200dactions in any way, shape, or form. Using campaign funds on OnlyFans accounts\u2063 is unacceptable. If it were, there\u200c wouldn\u2019t be a single un-jailed politician.<\/p>\n<p>And in\u2063 this country, you are supposed to be innocent until proven guilty.<\/p>\n<p>Obviously, if Santos is found guilty on \u200bany number of these charges,\u200b sure.
