There is a natural affinity, therefore, for \u2064persecuted groups. This includes radical Islamic groups.&#8221; He continued, &#8220;Everyone here has seen the massive demonstrations for Hamas in every\u200b major city in the West.\u200c That should be jarring. Well, a number of those <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/political-left-has-captured-federal-grant-giving-departments-experts-say\/\" title=\"Experts claim that federal grant-giving departments have been taken over by the political left.\">organizations receive funding<\/a>\u2063 from prominent \u200dpeople in Jewish \u2062community.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Musk \u2062used his appearance on stage to clarify a controversial <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/elonmusk\/status\/1724908287471272299\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tweet<\/a> earlier this month that he\u2063 conceded was &#8220;foolish,&#8221; and said, &#8220;What I meant to by that &#8230; is that it\u2019s unwise to fund organizations, to support groups, that want your annihilation.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/SMVXuElhjFk?si=RBfptzWJDJ0OeDeV\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Why-Jews-Liberals-Norman-Podhoretz\/dp\/0307456250\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Norman Podhoretz couldn\u2019t have \u2063said it better<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Musk, fresh off his \u2062solidarity trip to Israel, has received endless abuse from \u200cDemocrats, who \u2063insist he is not just an anti-Semite, but a racist, sexist, and all the other things Leftists like\u2062 to call \u2064people. This was all\u200b on display during Musk&#8217;s recent trip to Israel, \u2064when the same people who would counsel\u2064 Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu to break bread with Hamas, like the editor-in-chief of the left-wing Israeli newspaper Haaretz, Esther\u200d Solomon, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/EstherSolomon\/status\/1729099542094590234?s=20\">assailed him<\/a> for spending \u200dtime with Musk.<\/p>\n<p>He is, as best \u200cwe can tell, not an anti-Semite, a racist, a sexist, or anything\u200c or the sort. And\u200d on most of the Jews, alas, he is absolutely\u2063 right. Jewish organizations spent millions of dollars supporting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timesofisrael.com\/black-lives-matter-declare-groups-representing-majority-of-us-jews-in-nyt-ad\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Black Lives Matter<\/a>, the\u2062 Women\u2019s \u200bMarch, and many other faddish hotbeds of \u2062bigotry. They did\u2062 so because they believed that by standing with anyone who claimed \u2064to be oppressed,\u200b they could prove themselves to be allies and progressives in good standing.<\/p>\n<p>The strategy has failed miserably, with many of those same progressive organizations now openly supporting Hamas.<\/p>\n<p>Luckily, Jewish donors and community leaders are wising up. They\u2019re cutting financial support for elite madrasas, er, universities. They\u2019re using lawfare to fight\u2063 anti-Semites across the country. They\u2019re marching in the streets against anti-Semitism.<\/p>\n<p>While they\u2019re at it, they should get \u2062off Elon\u2019s case too, and take heed of what he has to say.
