According to the corporate media, hundreds of high schoolers are taking it upon themselves to walk out of school\u200c to protest Israel\u2019s\u200b right to defend itself. In\u2063 New York, San Francisco, Philadelphia, and more<\/a>, the nation\u2019s budding humanitarians\u2064 are banding \u200ctogether with the\u2064 hope of ushering in a new era of peace, the stories say. As is the case with \u200bso many stories surrounding Palestinian terrorism \u2064and Israel\u2019s response,\u2063 the prevailing narrative is wrong.<\/p>\n
These walkouts are \u2063not the result of well-meaning \u200bteenagers choosing to take a stand. These \u200cprotests are being conceived of and\u200d then\u2063 planned and executed by radical left-wing groups<\/a> using children as political props.<\/p>\n

The largest of these was\u2063 the \u201c#schools4Palestine\u201d \u2064walkout, which disrupted learning<\/a> \u200bin an estimated 100 New\u2063 York City public schools on Nov. 9. A coalition of far-left groups, including New York Collective of Radical Educators, NYC Educators for \u2063Palestine, Palestinian Youth Movement, and Teachers\u2064 Unite, authored a \u201c toolkit<\/a>\u201d \u2014 a handbook aimed\u200b mainly \u2062at adults to show them how to turn students into pro-Hamas activists. The document purports to be for \u201cstudents, teachers, and \u200dparents,\u201d but its content \u2062is less \u200brelevant for students than for \u2062teachers who\u200c seek to influence them. Another far-left group in the San Francisco Bay Area created a toolkit<\/a> of its own, full\u2063 of the same hateful lies about Israel.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
They were showing up, \u200cat the behest\u2064 of their teachers, to support a cause probably very few of them understand. The toolkit \u200ccontained a sample script \u2063for \u200bteachers to \u2062encourage their \u200dstudents to participate, and it \u2063notes \u200cthat teachers may \u201cshow support for their students \u2026 canceling tests or major paper deadlines or making the lesson more flexible \u200dto accommodate students who walk out.\u201d Teachers who followed this advice placed their own radical politics ahead of learning and \u200ccommitted a major\u2063 violation of professional ethics. They abused\u2062 their positions of responsibility for the sake of their own agenda.<\/p>\n

The toolkit put words in the\u200d mouths of\u200d children with a recommended chants list<\/a>, including \u201cSay it loud, say it clear, we don\u2019t \u200cwant Zionists here.\u201d When they took to the streets, some of the students chanted<\/a>, \u201cF-ck \u200cthe Jews,\u201d \u200dthus flaunting their hatred \u200band\u2064 abandoning the fa\u00e7ade \u2063that this protest was ever about\u200c peace.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
Students Aren\u2019t Being Taught the Truth<\/h2>\n
Students\u200c are being taught that it is good and noble \u200dto walk out in\u200d support of \u200dHamas. What they are not \u200d <\/em>being taught is that there was a ceasefire in \u2064place on Oct. \u20646, and it did not stop Hamas from slaughtering Israelis and taking hostages. They\u2019re not <\/em>teaching students that so many Palestinians live in poverty, not because of Israel, but because \u2063Hamas would rather \u200bspend money on \u200drockets and tunnels and their own\u2064 plush hideaways in\u200c Qatar than on basic infrastructure. \u2062They\u2019re not <\/em>teaching that supporting the Palestinian people means opposing Hamas, <\/p>\n
