Jean Carroll and express support for the high-profile Democrats.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>A New York City jury awarded Carroll <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/donald-trump-delivers-fiery-reaction-e-jean-carroll-verdict-announces-next-move\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>$5 million<\/strong><\/a>  in damages in May after she claimed she was raped\u200d by Trump in the 1990s. The jury found \u2062Trump liable for defamation and sexual assault, but\u2063 not for rape. Trump has \u200bdenied the allegations.<\/p>\n<p>Carroll filed \u200dsuit under\u2062 the <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/sexual-abuse-lawsuits-new-york-6fd16aa4cc992c089e91c6fef064f375\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Adult Survivors Act<\/strong><\/a>, a New York law that gave people a chance to sue over <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fbi-covered-up-slow-response-to-sexual-assault-allegations-against-usa-gymnastics-doctor\/\" title=\"FBI Covered Up Slow Response To Sexual Assault Allegations Against USA Gymnastics Doctor\">alleged sexual assaults<\/a> that were beyond \u200dthe statute of limitations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI hope that Mayor Eric [Adams], Andrew Cuomo, and all \u200dof the others that got sued based on this ridiculous\u2063 law where someone can\u2062 be \u200csued decades later, and with no proof, will fight it\u200c on being totally unfair\u200d and UNCONSTITUTIONAL,\u201d Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/truthsocial.com\/@realDonaldTrump\/111492289073450486\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>posted<\/strong><\/a>  \u200dTuesday on \u200chis Truth Social platform.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI got sued, decades later\u200d (she has no idea when her made up event took place!), by a\u200d woman \u2013 I\u200b HAD \u200dNO\u200d IDEA WHO SHE WAS.
