Yesterday, I \u2063shared a TikTok video exposing the Biden administration’s alarming \u2064proposal to exclude parents who reject gender ideology from the \u2063 foster care system<\/a>. However, within an hour, TikTok removed my video, claiming it violated\u200b their guidelines on “Hate \u200dSpeech and Hateful Behaviors” and “Nudity and Body Exposure.” Ironically, in the process, they\u2064 misgendered a trans-identifying individual. In the video, I explain \u200dhow the Biden administration intends to label\u2063 foster parents who oppose \u200bthe transgendering of children\u200c as child abusers. According\u2062 to \u200bthe proposed rule, foster care providers<\/a> must use the child’s identified pronouns, \u200cchosen name, and allow them to dress according to their self-identified gender identity and expression to be considered a safe and \u2064appropriate placement.<\/p>\n
Immediate Threat to Foster Children and All Parents<\/h3>\n
This proposal not only harms foster children \u2062by limiting the pool of available foster parents, but \u200bit also poses a threat to all \u200cparents and \u200bchildren. As Nathanael Blake, a Senior\u200b Contributor at The\u2063 Federalist, explains, this sets a dangerous \u2062precedent that rejecting \u200bgender ideology \u200bis abusive and unfit parenting. Once established, this precedent can be expanded to all parents, biological or foster.<\/p>\n
TikTok’s Censorship Is Hateful<\/h2>\n
TikTok justified the removal of\u2063 my video by stating \u200dthat they do not allow any hateful behavior, hate speech, or promotion \u200cof hateful ideologies. According to TikTok, opposing the chemical castration and sexual\u200c mutilation of children is\u2062 considered a “hateful ideology.” However,\u200d the real hateful\u200d and damaging ideology is the one that\u200c supports\u2063 creating identity crises in children and irreversibly harming minors’ bodies.<\/p>\n
TikTok also accused me of posting \u2063”nudity and \u200bbody \u200bexposure” because I included a photo of a transgender-identifying girl’s chest post-mastectomy. Ironically, by censoring the girl’s chest, TikTok misgendered the trans person in my video, which goes against their own guidelines on misgendering.<\/p>\n
TikTok \u200bRunning Cover For \u2064Biden<\/h2>\n
TikTok, owned by the Chinese\u200c company ByteDance, raises concerns about \u200cthe\u200c Chinese Communist Party’s influence \u2064and its \u200bimpact on millions of American users. However, the influence of the U.S. federal government on TikTok and its censorship practices is often\u2062 overlooked. ByteDance has faced pressure from both the Trump and Biden\u200d administrations to sell TikTok to an American company or face expulsion from the United States. Additionally, TikTok has hired former U.S. \u200cintelligence officials in censorship\u2064 positions, potentially using them to censor speech unfavorable to the\u200c Democratic \u2063Party.<\/p>\n

What are the \u2064arguments made by parents and concerned\u200d citizens who are opposed to \u200cthe policy of excluding parents\u2063 who \u200doppose gender ideology from the foster \u2062care system<\/a>?<\/h2>\n
Iately, many parents and concerned \u2062citizens have voiced their outrage over this potential policy.\u200c They \u2064argue \u200cthat it infringes on the \u200brights of\u2063 parents to raise their\u2062 children \u2064according \u2064to their own \u200dbeliefs and values. Additionally, they express concern about the potential harm \u200cthat\u200d could \u2064be caused to children who\u200b may be encouraged to question their own\u200d gender\u200b identity at a young age.<\/p>\n
