Nancy Mace Rejects Hunter Biden’s Offer to Testify in Public Hearing

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) has⁢ made it⁤ clear that she wants to dig deeper ‍into the Biden‌ family’s business dealings. In a recent interview on Fox Business’s ⁣Mornings with Maria, Mace expressed her desire⁢ to “see ⁢where the bodies are buried.” However, she believes that a closed-door deposition is the best way to uncover the ‌truth.

Mace, who ⁤sits on the House Oversight Committee, ‌explained ⁣that public hearings only allow members of Congress five minutes each to question witnesses. ⁣On the other ⁤hand, depositions provide a more thorough examination, with attorneys, members,⁤ and staff involved for‍ hours on end. Mace pointed out that even Donald Trump Jr. had to sit through two depositions before‍ Congress, so why should Hunter Biden be treated differently?

The House Oversight Committee is prepared to conduct multiple ⁤depositions with Hunter⁢ Biden due to the significant amount of money involved in⁢ their investigation. Mace wants to uncover the intricate details of how‌ these companies‍ were created, where the ⁣money came ⁣from (particularly China), and how it made its way to various Biden family ⁤members. She also wants ⁣to know Joe Biden’s involvement‍ and any potential bribery. Mace⁣ believes⁢ that the evidence ⁣lies within WhatsApp messages, emails, and text messages.

While Hunter⁢ Biden’s attorney stated that he would be willing to testify‌ in a public hearing, Mace and the committee chairman, Comer, are adamant about a closed-door deposition. They argue that Hunter Biden cannot evade this crucial ⁣step and‌ must ⁤play by the ⁣same rules ‌as everyone else.

It’s clear that⁤ Mace is⁤ determined to get to the ⁣bottom⁤ of this⁣ investigation, and she believes that a ⁣closed-door‌ deposition is the first necessary step ⁣in⁣ unraveling ⁤the truth.

Rep.
