The former first\u2062 lady has stayed largely out of the limelight\u2062 since \u2064leaving the White House in 2021, \u200cbut whenever she does make an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/why-this-average-american-is-voting-for-donald-trump\/\" title=\"Why This Average American Is Voting for Donald Trump\">appearance<\/a>, her very presence \u2062makes liberals in\u200d the media go crazy.<\/p>\n<p>In their ever-watchful eyes, every move \u2064of Mrs. Trump is \u2062dissected and scrutinized, even in somber moments like a funeral.<\/p>\n<p>The\u200d latest fake outrage is over the coat \u2063Melania wore Tuesday to an invitation-only \u2063tribute service for former first lady <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/ap-rosalynn-carter-outspoken-former-first-lady-dead-96\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rosalynn Carter<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>You would think\u200c Mrs. Trump\u200d was wearing a leather jacket \u2062with skulls and \u2064crossbones, but she wasn\u2019t.<\/p>\n<p>No, the\u2064 great fashion crime the former first lady committed was\u200d that\u200d her coat \u2014\u2063 not her dress, her\u200d coat \u2014 was a sober gray with specks\u2062 of \u200dblack\u200c instead of all black.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/melania-trump-outfit-rosalynn-carter-memorial-service-1847697\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Newsweek<\/a> dedicated \u200dan entire article to the former first lady\u2019s coat. In an attempt to keep\u200b the facade of balance, the outlet actually consulted \u200bDiane Gottsman, an etiquette expert and founder\u200c of The Protocol School of Texas, about the alleged fashion faux pas \u2014 but was told that \u201cMelania Trump\u2019s outfit was appropriate for a funeral.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt would be a different story if Melania Trump wore\u200b hot pink, or bright \u2063red, but rather she chose a somber gray, which is\u200b a perfectly acceptable color for funerals,\u201d the fashion expert said.<\/p>\n<p>But that \u2064didn\u2019t stop the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/breaking-73976-ballots-released-by-maricopa-county-56-1-for-donald-trump\/\" title=\"BREAKING: 73,976 Ballots Released By Maricopa County \u2014 56.1% FOR DONALD TRUMP\">news outlet<\/a> from \u200ctrashing\u2064 the former first lady \u2062in the rest of the article, using quotes from social media.<\/p>\n<p>The outlet \u2062quoted filmmaker and producer Andy Ostroy, who wrote in a post on X,\u2064 \u201cShe might as well have \u2018I really don\u2019t care, do \u200dyou?\u2019 on the \u200cback of that coat.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEVERYONE wears black, especially at a funeral like Rosalynn Carter\u2019s, but not Melania Trump. She \u200bwears gray.
