He then jumped out of the moving car at a barricade and fled on foot.<\/p>\n<p>Although\u2063 Walker did not have \u200bthe gun with him as he ran, video evidence showed\u200d him reaching for something at\u2064 his waist and turning, \u200bwhich prompted\u200b the \u2064police \u200dto fire. A \u200dstate investigation later revealed\u2064 that Walker had fired a gun out of\u2063 his car window while attempting to escape.<\/p>\n<p>Police fired \u2064up to 60 bullets at \u2063Walker after he jumped out\u200b of the \u200bvehicle and shot at the\u200c officers. \u200bThe medical examiner\u2019s \u200boffice confirmed that Walker was shot in the face, torso, and upper legs.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation and crime\u2062 scene\u200c video\u2063 confirmed that \u200dWalker had a handgun in his car.
