Most lack official\u2063 IDs or \u2062documentation that could be cross-referenced.<\/p>\n<p>But unlike Nasseri or his fictional counterpart, Navorski, a little thing like the lack of\u2063 proper \u2062paperwork won\u2019t stop \u2063these people from getting\u200b into the country. \u2063They are just waiting for flights\u2064 to take them to wherever they want to go, \u200ccourtesy of the Biden administration.<\/p>\n<p>The<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/ap-eight-dead-boat-disaster-off-san-diego-coast-guard-scrambles-find-rescue-missing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> San Diego<\/a> welcome center,\u200b run by the nonprofit SBCS,\u2063 has come under scrutiny for its role in the airport\u2064 crisis. SBCS buses multiple groups of migrants to the airport daily, working closely with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/incredibly-sad-day-us-border-patrol-agent-dies-trying-nab-illegal-immigrants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Border Patrol<\/a> drop-offs, the Union-Tribune reported.<\/p>\n<p>Some volunteers allege migrants are transported to the \u200cterminal directly after processing without confirmed travel plans.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s almost becoming a second [migrant welcome] center because\u2062 there\u2019s so many people there,\u201d Krystle Johnson, a volunteer with a group helping migrants \u2064at\u200c the airport,\u200c told the Union-Tribune.<\/p>\n<p>Airport officials acknowledged there has been a \u2064\u201csignificant increase in\u2064 the\u200d number of migrants\u201d and said in a statement that they \u201chave and will continue to coordinate with migrant-serving volunteer groups and nonprofit organizations as\u2063 they help\u200b their clients navigate the airport.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Immigrant Defenders Law Center attorneys said around 20 arrivals per day lack any\u200b flight\u200d booking.
