Marjorie ⁢Taylor Greene’s proposal to appear on his show and promote ⁣her ⁢new book. Kimmel ⁣made this announcement during ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! on ⁣Monday ⁤evening, responding to Greene’s request on social media. The Georgia lawmaker claimed that Kimmel’s show is filled with “nonstop lies about me” and‍ expressed her intention to discuss how ‍to “SAVE AMERICA!” while showcasing ⁤her book, ⁢MTG.

“I guess I’m a Hollywood libtard that’s part‍ of the celebrity pedophile Satan club until she has a book to promote,” Kimmel sarcastically remarked. “Then I’d love to swing by!”

Kimmel ‌also recalled⁤ an incident in ‍2022 when Greene called the Capitol Police after he jokingly suggested that actor Will Smith should ‍slap her. Greene interpreted the joke as a “threat of violence.” Kimmel’s joke was a reference ⁢to the well-known Oscar slap ‌that occurred in March 2022, when Smith playfully slapped host Chris Rock.

Furthermore, Kimmel humorously commented⁤ on the performance of Greene’s book in the market. Upon checking ⁣its sales, he discovered that it ranked at a lowly No. ⁢9,846 on Amazon’s bestselling book list and No. 65 in ‌the category of women’s biographies.

“Marjorie Taylor ⁢Greene’s⁢ book is ⁢such a bomb,⁣ I might have to report ‍it ‌to the Capitol Police,” Kimmel⁣ quipped.

Return of Kimmel’s⁣ Show and the Controversial Podcast

Kimmel’s show ‍recently returned after the conclusion ⁤of the writers’ strike⁣ in ⁤Hollywood, which ended ‍in ‍late September. Her book, “America First,” reflects ⁣her ⁣views on topics such as immigration, gun‌ rights, and support for former ‍President Donald Trump. In an ⁢attempt to gain more visibility for her book, Greene extended an invitation to Jimmy Kimmel, known for his satirical commentary on ⁢political figures.

Jimmy ‍Kimmel, host of the popular late-night show “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”, made his decision clear by announcing it on his show. He explained that while he appreciates the invitation, he cannot find common ground with Greene’s ⁤extreme ideologies and ideas.⁤ Kimmel, known for his progressive ⁤views and satire ⁣targeting conservative politicians, expressed concern about lending credibility⁤ to any promotion of Greene’s‌ book.

It is not⁢ uncommon for authors and ⁤public figures to go on talk shows to promote ‌their work. This exposure⁢ can significantly⁤ contribute to book sales and popularity. However, in this case, Kimmel made a conscious decision to distance himself from someone who he feels does not align with his values.

This rejection is not surprising, given that Greene has⁤ been a polarizing figure ‌since joining Congress. She has faced⁢ condemnation from both sides of the aisle for promoting baseless ‍conspiracy ‌theories and endorsing violence ‌against Democrats. Many have criticized her for her association with⁤ the QAnon⁣ conspiracy theory, as well as her past social media activity, ‌which included advocating for the ‍execution of prominent Democratic figures.

Promoting a ⁣book ⁤is not just‌ about sales and publicity; it often involves an endorsement of⁢ the ideas presented within‌ it. By ⁤declining Greene’s invitation, Kimmel is sending a clear message that he does not⁢ endorse or support her beliefs. This decision highlights the divide and ideological differences that currently exist in American ⁣politics.

In recent years, late-night show hosts have become increasingly involved in political commentary. They use their platforms to express their views ‌on social and political issues, often critiquing politicians and their policies. Kimmel, like many of his counterparts, has not shied away from expressing his ⁢progressive viewpoints, making his‌ rejection of Greene’s offer⁤ consistent with ⁣his public image.

Whether or not this‌ will affect the sales or popularity of Greene’s book remains to be seen. While Kimmel’s rejection may have denied her the opportunity to reach a wider audience, it could also validate her position ‍among her supporters who‌ view the rejection as another instance of the “liberal elite” trying‌ to silence conservative voices.

In conclusion, Jimmy Kimmel has declined Marjorie Taylor⁢ Greene’s invitation‌ to promote her⁢ book on his show. Citing differences⁣ in values and beliefs, Kimmel expressed his concern about lending credibility to someone with ‍extreme ideologies. This decision emphasizes ⁤the ideological divide in American politics and the impact that late-night show hosts have on public opinion. Whether or not this rejection will affect the success⁤ of Greene’s book remains uncertain, but it serves as another ⁣chapter⁢ in the ongoing battle of ideas in American society.

Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel declined Rep.
