Their SUV was struck by two cars, \u200daccording to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/news\/texas\/2023\/11\/27\/new-details-emerge-in-crash-that-killed-fort-worth-ceo-two-children-on-thanksgiving-eve\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Dallas \u200cMorning News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Muckleroy, a lifelong supporter of Texas Christian University, where he had joined the football team as a walk-on in 1998, was the CEO of his family business, Muckleroy \u200c&#038; Falls Construction,\u200c in Fort Worth.<\/p>\n<p>While his wife, Lauren, survived the crash, she remains in critical condition at an \u200cAustin hospital.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Fort Worth construction CEO, TCU alum killed in car accident \u200calong with\u200b his 2 children \u200c <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/W6ho0NPrZr\">https:\/\/t.co\/W6ho0NPrZr<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Fort\u2063 Worth Star-Telegram (@startelegram) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/startelegram\/status\/1729290345781809322?\">November 28, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The accident occurred when a\u200b man driving a Toyota crossed the center traffic line\u200b and\u200c collided\u2064 head-on \u200cwith the Muckleroys&#8217; Chevrolet SUV, driven by Lauren \u2064Muckleroy, \u2062according to a preliminary \u200dinvestigation by the \u200bTexas Department of Public Safety.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;A \u2063woman driving a Nissan Versa, also southbound, then hit the \u200dMuckleroy family, rolling the Nissan,&#8221; the Morning News reported.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Zach Muckleroy, 44, and his children died at the scene of\u200c the crash. The driver of the Toyota,\u2062 whose name has not been released, died later at a hospital. The\u200b driver\u2064 of the Nissan was treated at the scene and released,&#8221; the outlet said.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities are still uncertain about what\u2062 caused the driver of the Toyota \u200dto \u200dveer into the center traffic\u200b line.<\/p>\n<p>The \u2062Rev.
