Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) slammed President Joe Biden&#8217;s border policies by arguing they leave the country vulnerable to terrorist attacks on the scale of what happened on 9\/11 &#8220;every few weeks.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p> Tuberville said Biden should have instructed Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin to put the military at the southern border as soon as the Oct. 7 terrorist attacks happened in Israel, citing the lack of knowledge of the backgrounds of illegal immigrants entering the United States. He made the comments while speaking on Newsmax&#8217;s Eric Bolling The Balance on Monday. <\/p>\n<p> &#8216;DISAPPOINTED&#8217; BIDEN APOLOGIZED AFTER SHOWING SKEPTICISM ABOUT HAMAS DEATH TOLL CLAIMS <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat happened in Israel and Hamas, that catastrophe going on over there, when that happened, Joe Biden should\u2019ve woke up and called Secretary Austin and said, \u2018OK, send every available military personnel to the border immediately. Close it down. Nobody else comes in,'&#8221; Tuberville said. <\/p>\n<p> The Alabama Republican also said the Biden administration &#8220;could care less&#8221; about the U.S.-Mexico border and warned of the dangers the current policy could present. <\/p>\n<p> \u201cWe\u2019re gonna have a 9\/11 attack every few weeks if we don\u2019t watch it. It is out of control. But this group could care less. You know, being a senator, you know, I\u2019m not a senator. I was an educator, and I\u2019m up here watching what\u2019s going on, and I\u2019m thinking, you know, who cares? Who cares about the American people? Who cares about the taxpayers of this country? I can\u2019t find anybody on both sides of the aisle.
