The proposed rules would expand all \u2064federal laws that\u200c ban Americans from respecting the differences between\u2063 men \u2062and women to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/books-containing-pedophilia-graphic-sex-depictions-have-been-pulled-from-fairfax-schools\/\" title=\"Books Containing Pedophilia, Graphic Sex Depictions Have Been Pulled From Fairfax Schools\">include homosexual<\/a> and transsexual privileges, or \u201csexual orientation and gender identity\u201d preferences. More than 100 such laws exist.<\/p>\n<p>The proposed rules would also delete existing language requiring all federal grants to \u200cadhere \u200cto the Constitution in \u201cprotecting \u200bfree speech,\u200d religious liberty, public welfare, the environment, and prohibiting discrimination,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/cpjustice.org\/call-for-comments-office-of-management-and-budget-proposes-to-elevate-lgbtq-nondiscrimination-protections-in-federal-grants-while-downplaying-religious-freedom-protections\/?vcrmeid=lFkTIOqV0uMiBmNPN2nEQ&#038;vcrmiid=t-K5fu3Pg06AawGXRfbHMg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">according to<\/a> \u200bthe Center for Political Justice (CPJ). If such \u2063rules pass, they would license government discrimination against religious Americans, which is unconstitutional.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3>Impact on Federal \u200dGrants and Contracts<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Federal contracts and grants <a href=\"https:\/\/www.brookings.edu\/articles\/the-true-size-of-government-is-nearing-a-record-high\/#_edn1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">employ \u200dmore\u2063 people<\/a> than the federal government does directly. In 2022, federal grants <a href=\"https:\/\/about.bgov.com\/brief\/trends-in-federal-contract-spending\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">were worth<\/a> $700 billion, nearly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalpriorities.org\/budget-basics\/federal-budget-101\/spending\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">what<\/a> American taxpayers spend on the U.S. military.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This \u201csweeping overhaul\u201d of Office of Management and Budget rules would \u201capply across federal\u2062 agencies that describe how grants and cooperative \u2062agreements should be administered and audited,\u201d CPJ says. In other words, these rules apply to every one of the hundreds of federal agencies.<\/p>\n<p>This rules change is one of dozens the Biden administration has been making to apply the 2020 <em>Bostock v. Clayton County<\/em> Supreme Court decision to every aspect of \u2064federal\u2062 power. That 6-3 decision, authored by \u2064Justice Neil \u200dGorsuch, whom queer activists targeted as the likely swing vote, inserted \u201csexual orientation and gender identity\u201d privileges into the word \u201csex\u201d in a law banning\u2062 \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/retired-nfl-player-calls-for-separate-transgender-category-of-sports-after-biden-executive-order\/\" title=\"Retired NFL Player Calls For Separate Transgender Category Of Sports After Biden Executive Order\">sex discrimination<\/a>\u201d in employment.<\/p>\n<p>In that decision, the court overrode 60 years of precedents in 30 of 30 courts where such cases were tried to fatuously pretend that\u2063 Congress in the 1960s <em>meant<\/em> \u2062to\u2064 include queer entitlements in laws\u2064 that resulted in\u200b female entitlements \u2014 years <a href=\"https:\/\/www.supremecourt.gov\/opinions\/19pdf\/17-1618_hfci.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">before<\/a> the word\u200d \u201ctransgender\u201d was coined and in a time when homosexuals could not get security clearances and were\u200c still\u200b being separated from the military due to their sexual attraction to fellow soldiers.<\/p>\n<h3>Threat to First Amendment Rights<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Even \u200dLGBT activists spent decades between \u2064the 1964 Civil \u200cRights Act and 2020\u2019s <em>Bostock<\/em> demanding a queer carve-out in federal \u201cantidiscrimination law.\u201d That means not even queer activists believed the Civil Rights Act\u2064 protected homosexual,\u2063 transsexual, or any other queer identity \u2014 until it was expedient to lie about that because \u2064the Supreme Court would sanction it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cThe entire Federal Judiciary will be mired for years in disputes about the reach of the Court\u2019s reasoning,\u201d Justices Samuel \u200bAlito and\u2063 Clarence\u2064 Thomas wrote in \u2063their <em>Bostock<\/em> dissent. They were \u2064right.<\/p>\n<p>This federal grants \u200dregulation that would void Americans\u2019 First Amendment\u2064 rights will\u2064 be one of\u200b the dozens\u200c immediately sued in federal court as a direct result of the Biden administration\u2019s <em>Bostock<\/em>-citing \u2062queerings of federal law. Courts could instead be hearing\u2064 other cases that actually uphold Americans\u2019 rights had the Supreme\u200d Court not violated the Constitution by legislating from the bench in <em>Bostock<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>CPJ notes that public comment\u2064 on this\u200c regulation is\u200c open until Dec. 4,\u200d \u201cand can be submitted easily \u200cvia\u200d www.regulations.gov\u200d (type OMB-2023-0017-0001 into the search box\u2063 to find this NPRM).\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Preserving Freedom of Association<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>LGBT extremists\u2019\u200d goal is to use every lever of federal power \u2063to force Americans to \u2064do and\u2062 say what LGBT activists want. That\u200d is un-American and totalitarian: It assumes the right\u2062 to tell\u200d people that they may not act as if they believe anything other than what government officials tell them.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>That\u2019s \u2063why there should\u200d be no \u2062\u201cantidiscrimination\u201d laws: It\u2019s none of \u2063any government\u2019s d-mned business whom \u200cAmericans choose to hire or fire or admit into clubs, or any other exercise of free\u2063 association. That\u2019s what freedom means.<\/p>\n<p>People who want to be free have to accept that sometimes it results in speech\u2062 and actions we don\u2019t like but\u200c are \u2064perfectly within every human\u2019s natural \u200drights. Either everyone gets these freedoms, or we edge toward a totalitarian system in which government asserts the right to tell you what you \u200bmust say, who you have to let into \u200cplaces women and \u200bchildren undress, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/corner\/biden-and-dems-are-set-to-abolish-the-suburbs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">who you must be friends and neighbors with<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Americans aren\u2019t \u200bracists anymore. It\u2019s \u200bbeen 60 years since the Civil Rights Act. We should \u2062get \u2062our freedom\u2064 of association back now before its erasure destroys the rest of the Bill of\u200d Rights and Constitution \u2014 our remaining bulwarks for preserving a free people.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"> <\/p>\n<h2> What potential consequences could religious \u200dindividuals and organizations face\u2062 if \u2063they refuse to adhere to policies prioritizing\u200d &#8220;sexual orientation and gender identity&#8221; over\u2062 their traditional beliefs?<\/h2>\n<p><span>  \u200bFederal court \u200cif implemented, as it directly\u200b infringes upon\u200c the rights of religious \u2062Americans. The proposed rules would force recipients of federal \u200bgrants to adhere to policies that \u200dprioritize &#8220;sexual orientation and gender identity&#8221; over religious liberty and free speech. <\/p>\n<p>Under the proposed rules, religious individuals and organizations\u200d who uphold traditional\u2063 beliefs on gender and sexuality could face discrimination and even\u2062 lose their federal funding. This is a direct violation of the First \u2063Amendment, which\u200d guarantees the right \u200dto freedom \u200bof religion and the right to express one&#8217;s beliefs without government interference. <\/p>\n<p>The impact of these rules\u200c on\u2062 federal grants and contracts cannot be understated.\u200d Federal contracts \u200cand grants \u200demploy\u2062 a significant number of people, \u200coften \u200dexceeding the number directly\u2063 employed by the federal government. \u200bIn fact, in 2022, federal grants were valued at \u2063$700 billion, a staggering\u2064 amount comparable \u200dto the defense budget. <\/p>\n<p>The Office of \u2064Management and Budget rules that would be overhauled \u200dby these proposed regulations apply to every\u2064 federal agency, making the potential impact widespread.\u200c These changes reflect the Biden administration&#8217;s efforts to \u2062apply\u2063 the 2020 Bostock v. Clayton County\u2062 Supreme Court decision to various aspects of\u200c federal power. <\/p>\n<p>In the Bostock decision, the court\u200c redefined the word &#8220;sex&#8221; in a law prohibiting \u2062&#8221;sex discrimination&#8221; \u2063to include &#8220;sexual \u2062orientation and gender identity.&#8221; This controversial decision overturned decades of precedent and opened the door for the inclusion \u200dof queer entitlements\u200c in \u200cantidiscrimination\u2064 laws. <\/p>\n<p>Even \u200cLGBTQ activists \u2063themselves did not \u200dbelieve that the\u200b Civil Rights Act\u2063 protected queer identities\u2062 until the Bostock decision,\u200d as \u200dthey had <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/is-he-guilty-of-sexual-misconduct-depends-on-his-political-party\/\" title=\"Is He Guilty Of Sexual Misconduct? Depends On His Political Party.\">spent years advocating<\/a> for a specific carve-out in federal\u200b law.\u2063 The sudden change in interpretation by the Supreme Court\u200b has led \u2062to confusion and will likely result in a flood of litigation to\u200d clarify the scope of the court&#8217;s reasoning. <\/p>\n<p>If these proposed rules \u200bpass, they would\u200c not only <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/conservatives-lobby-to-keep-abortion-out-of-new-pregnant-worker-protection-law\/\" title=\"Conservatives push to exclude abortion from new law protecting pregnant workers.\">undermine religious freedom<\/a> and free speech \u2064but \u2064also license government discrimination against those\u200c who hold \u2063traditional beliefs.\u200b This is\u200d an unconstitutional infringement on the rights of religious\u2062 Americans and a dangerous precedent for government overreach. <\/p>\n<p>It is crucial that we protect the First Amendment rights of all Americans,\u200d regardless of \u2063their religious beliefs or their stance on controversial \u200dsocial \u2063issues. \u200bPreserving the freedom to express one&#8217;s beliefs and engaging in respectful dialogue is essential for \u200ca thriving democracy.
