Slowly, the old woman remembers and returns to the real world back into the arms of her waiting husband and family.<\/p>\n<p>The \u2063comments on Chevy\u2019s YouTube reveal\u200c how much people\u200d connected with this commercial, not\u2063 just with\u2064 the\u2063 nostalgia, but with the real sorrow of losing a parent \u200cor grandparent and the pain of seeing someone taken by \u200bthe ravages of Alzheimer\u2019s or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/police-make-horrifying-discovery-72-year-old-dementia-commits-suicide\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">dementia<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA \u2063couple of\u200d days ago\u200c I held my Grandmother\u2019s hand as she passed away. We are both huge John Denver fans and this is \u200cmy\u200c favorite song of his. I played this song for her as\u200d I held her.\u2064 This \u200cfelt \u2063like such a clear sign, it feels like\u200d a warm [hug] and I am crying bittersweet tears,\u201d one YouTube comment read.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI haven\u2019t sobbed like that since my\u2062 mom passed away \u20643.5 years \u2064ago.
