George Santos Remains Defiant and Challenges House Ethics Committee<\/h2>\n<p>In a bold and fiery interview on an X Space hosted by Monica Matthews, Rep. George Santos (R-NY) unleashed his frustration\u200d and defiance towards the House Ethics Committee. Santos, who recently faced allegations of\u2062 misusing \u200dcampaign funds and falsifying\u200d reports, acknowledged\u200c that his expulsion from Congress was likely imminent.<\/p>\n<h3>Unveiling \u2064the Allegations<\/h3>\n<p>The Ethics Committee report,\u200b released on\u200d Nov. 16, accused Santos of \u2062using campaign funds\u200c for personal expenses, including purchases on\u200b OnlyFans, Sephora, and Hermes, as well\u200c as getting botox. \u200bAdditionally, it alleged that he conspired to falsify\u2064 Federal Election \u200bCommission reports.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s flawed. It was\u2062 designed to smear me. It was designed to force me out of my seat. That is what the intention of this report was. This report wasn&#8217;t a finding \u200bof\u200b facts,&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Santos vehemently criticized the committee&#8217;s motives, claiming that the report was a\u2062 deliberate \u200cattempt to tarnish his reputation and remove him from office.<\/p>\n<h3>Calling\u200b Out \u2063Hypocrisy<\/h3>\n<p>During the interview,\u2064 Santos didn&#8217;t hold back\u200c in calling out his fellow members of\u200d Congress.
