It might be \u2014 although the numbers show that if the election were held today, the walk in the park would be Donald Trump\u2019s, instead.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>In an Emerson\u2063 College poll released \u2063on Wednesday, former President \u2064Trump \u2014 the current GOP \u200cfrontrunner for the nomination \u2014 led \u2062nationally by four points.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>While it was within the margin of error, a 4-percentage-point lead is still nothing to scoff at \u200d\u2014 and it\u2019s\u200b in line with a slew of recent polls that show President \u200cJoe Biden \u2064in deep water.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cA new Emerson College Polling national\u2062 survey of registered voters finds former President Donald Trump with a four-point lead over President Biden in a hypothetical 2024 matchup, 47% to 43%, within the poll\u2019s margin of error,\u201d\u2063 a media release from Emerson College Polling read.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Ten\u2064 percent of voters in the poll remain undecided, as well. That\u2019s\u2062 about\u2064 the\u200b only\u2063 good news for Biden, since his support seems to be eroding according to Emerson\u2019s national\u200c poll. (The survey, conducted among 1,475 registered voters between \u200dNov. 17-20, had a margin of error of 2.5 percent.)<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cSince last month, Trump\u2019s support has held at 47% while Biden\u2019s support has\u2063 decreased from \u206345% to 43%,\u201d\u200c the media release read.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>And the specter of third-party candidates also should have those manning the halls \u200cof 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.\u2063 in a \u200btizzy.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cWith third-party and independent candidates Robert Kennedy Jr., Cornel \u2063West, and Jill Stein added to the ballot,\u2062 Trump\u2019s support decreases five points to 42%, Biden\u2064 decreases seven points to 36%, while 7% support Kennedy, 1% West and Stein respectively.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe share of undecided \u200bvoters\u2062 increases \u200cthree points to 13%,\u201d \u2062the media release stated.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The \u2063poll also showed Biden\u2019s\u2062 approval level dwindling, with 38 approving of the job he\u2019s doing and 50 percent disapproving.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe president\u2019s disapproval has stayed the same this month, while his approval has dropped four points,\u201d said Spencer Kimball, executive director of Emerson College Polling.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe president\u2019s approval \u200bis the lowest it has been this calendar year, \u200dbut similar to what it \u2063was this time last year\u200b when his approval\u200c was \u200dat 39 percent.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Not only that, but identity groups that the Democrats rely on \u200bto carry them over the finishing line \u2064seem to be jumping\u200b off the sinking Biden \u2063ship.<\/p>\n<p>Among black voters, there was a net 15- percent shift in the\u200b red for Biden\u2019s lead, from a 61-point lead to a 47-point one this \u2064year.<\/p>\n<p>Biden saw a similar shift with Hispanic voters, from up by 14 to up by\u200d only 3 \u2014 an 11-point drop. \u200dWith \u200dwomen, there was an eight-point shift, from being up by \u200b4 percentage points to down by 4 percentage \u2063points. He also went from up by 12\u2063 percent \u2064among voters under \u200b50 to being down \u200cby 1 percent.<\/p>\n<p>But then, \u2064this shouldn\u2019t be a surprise for the looking at the poll numbers. Even NBC News\u2019 poll \u2014 \u200dhardly coming from\u200b a\u2062 hive of covert Republican \u200csentiment, given the source \u2014 has Trump \u200dup over \u200dBiden \u206346-44 nationally.<\/p>\n<p>Not\u200c only that, but a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-expands-lead-over-biden-in-new-poll-as-women-blacks-hispanics-jump-off-sinking-ship\/\" title=\"Trump widens lead over Biden in new poll as key demographics abandon ship\">targeted swing-state survey<\/a> from \u2062the U.K.\u2019s Stack Data Strategy\u200c showed that Trump held significant leads\u200b in\u2064 several swing states; its findings \u2062showed that while Biden might win\u200c the popular vote yet again, the model\u200b had Trump up in the\u200b Electoral College by a 292-246 \u200bmargin.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe poll shows Trump on course to win back four key swing states that Biden won in 2020: Arizona, Georgia, \u2062Pennsylvania\u2064 and\u2062 Wisconsin,\u201d a news release from Stack Data Strategy released last week read.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll of these states were won by Trump in the 2016\u200d election before flipping to Biden in the 2020 election, preventing Trump from the same path to \u200dthe White House,\u201d it continued. \u201cThese states are vital for Trump\u2019s re-election.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese four states had the closest \u200dmargins out of all states in \u200c2020, and Biden managed to win Arizona,\u2064 Georgia and Wisconsin by\u2062 less than\u200c one \u200dpercent \u2062of\u2063 the vote. In our current\u200d projections, however, we are seeing significant swings towards Trump in Georgia and Pennsylvania. \u200cIn Georgia, Trump leads by 3.3% in our projection, while he is also projected to win Pennsylvania by 2.3%.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And why shouldn\u2019t this be the case? After all, the president seems \u200blike\u200b a\u2064 brainless human puppet at\u200c this point and \u200bthe policies being pushed by the wonks behind\u200b the scene are wildly unpopular and costly.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s time for this expensive charade to end. The recent polls indicate that President Biden&#8217;s support is waning, and former President Trump is gaining ground.<\/p>\n<p>The Emerson College Polling shows that\u200d Trump holds a four-point lead over Biden \u200din\u200b a hypothetical 2024 matchup. While this lead is within the margin of error,\u200d it is significant considering the recent polls that \u200calso show \u2064Biden&#8217;s declining support. Trump&#8217;s\u2063 support has remained steady at 47%, while Biden&#8217;s support has decreased from 45% to 43%. The fact that 10% of\u2063 voters\u2062 remain undecided is also not good news for Biden.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the addition of third-party and independent candidates to the ballot further diminishes\u200d both Trump and Biden&#8217;s support. \u200bTrump&#8217;s support decreases to 42%, Biden decreases to 36%, and the\u2063 share of undecided voters increases to 13%. This scenario should concern those in the administration.<\/p>\n<p>The poll also highlights Biden&#8217;s diminishing approval \u2063level, with only \u200b38% \u2063approving of the job he&#8217;s doing and 50% disapproving. This is the lowest approval rating Biden has received this calendar year, and it reflects a drop of four points from the \u2064previous month.<\/p>\n<p>An even \u200bmore concerning trend for Democrats is the\u200d shift in support from key \u200cidentity groups. While Biden may win the popular vote, \u200dTrump is projected to win the Electoral College by a margin of 292-246.<\/p>\n<p>It is evident\u2063 that Biden&#8217;s policies are not resonating with the\u2063 American people. The\u2064 costly \u200dand \u2062unpopular measures \u2062being pushed by his administration, coupled with his\u200c waning approval, have resulted in a growing support base \u2063for Trump.<\/p>\n<p>It is time for this charade to\u200c end, as the \u200dcurrent direction is not in the best interest of the country. \u2063The American people seem to share \u200cthis sentiment, as indicated by the recent polls.
