They⁣ will compete⁤ for ‌coveted trophies like the Apple Cup, the Golden Egg, and the Wooden Boot. In the span of three ⁢hours, some ‍dreams will come true while others will ⁤be shattered. But that’s the price these athletes pay for a ‍chance at greatness.

For a few hours, sports will showcase the ‌best of America, rather than the worst. And during those ‍precious hours, ⁣when the game ‍kicks off, it should serve as a welcome reprieve from the usual Thanksgiving arguments over politics ⁣and current affairs.

This season, the Wolverines and Buckeyes‍ will face each ‌other as⁣ undefeated foes for the second‌ year⁢ in a row. These young men ⁢will face the same challenges and sacrifices I did, but they will also experience the joy and camaraderie that comes with being a part‌ of a team.

Football‍ has a ‌way of bringing out the best in people.
