And they\u2064 cannot seem\u200d to quit it \u200bor even acknowledge it. Ted Cruz of Texas.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">\u201cThe leftists have already decided the Palestinians\u200c are \u2063the victims. If you\u2019re a victim, then \u200byou\u2019re\u2063 morally righteous. According to this view, economic life divides neatly between\u2064 oppressor capitalists and the oppressed\u200b working-class.<\/p>\n<p>In the 20th \u200bcentury, of \u2064course, Marxist regimes invariably \u200ccollapsed \u200binto totalitarianism.<\/p>\n<p>This came about largely\u2062 by \u200cdesign. Again and again,\u2064 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/jordan-peterson-stuns-mahers-audience-to-silence-explaining-why-dems-are-about-to-pay-the-price\/\" title=\"Jordan Peterson Stuns Maher's Audience to Silence Explaining Why Dems Are About to Pay the Price\">resentment-fueled intellectuals\u2062 weaponized legitimate working-class grievances<\/a>\u2063 to smooth their own murderous \u200cpaths to power. By century\u2019s\u200c end, Western working \u200dclasses\u200c had caught on\u2064 to the game\u200d and rejected Marxist lies.<\/p>\n<p>Marxists therefore abandoned the working class. Amplifying class-based\u2064 grievances\u200c no longer served \u200dtheir interests, so \u2062Marxists instead pursued power by applying\u2063 their simplistic and \u200cthus deceptive oppressor-oppressed narrative to matters\u2062 of race, gender and other\u2063 identity markers that serve only to divide people.<\/p>\n<p>The key, of course, is that the \u201coppressed\u201d are always good and the \u201coppressors\u201d always bad. This keeps things simple\u2064 and allows for maximum \u2063moral certitude without corresponding humility. \u2063One cannot \u200dimagine a\u200c stronger\u2064 recipe for radicalization.<\/p>\n<p>Peterson \u2063correctly observed this phenomenon in recent pro-Palestinian protests among young people who\u200c know nothing about Middle Eastern history.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe leftists have already decided the Palestinians are the victims. And, \u200bas\u200c you\u2062 [Paul] \u200d pointed out, if you\u2019re a \u200bvictim, then you\u2019re morally righteous. And even more conveniently if you stand for\u200b the victim then\u2062 you\u2019re morally righteous\u200b regardless\u200b of\u2064 what you do with your own life,\u201d Peterson said.<\/p>\n<p>Then, \u2062Peterson blamed \u2064Democrats for refusing \u200cto\u200d temper or \u200ceven acknowledge their own party\u2019s leftist radicalism.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd one of the things the Democrats also have to pay the\u200c price for, I would say, \u2064is their absolute refusal to draw a line between the moderate \u200bDemocrats and the extremists,\u201d Peterson said.<\/p>\n<p>Alas, Democratic leaders have lost\u2062 the ability to recognize extremism on the left.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve \u2062talked to 40 senators \u200cand congressmen in \u2063the \u2062last five years. I asked them all the same question, including RFK. He \u2062wouldn\u2019t answer either,\u201d Peterson \u2064said.<\/p>\n<p>The crucial question that Democrat-turned-Independent presidential candidate Robert \u200bF. Kennedy Jr. and others \u2062failed to answer\u2062 goes to the heart of the Democrats\u2019 current plight: \u201cWhen does the left\u200d go too\u200b far?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, \u200brecent\u200c events suggest \u200bthat it has.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell we \u200bcertainly bloody well\u2062 saw it the last month, didn\u2019t we? Cause they got the \u2018oppressor-oppress[ed]\u2019\u200d narrative a little mucked up, we might say,\u201d Peterson remarked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe consequences of that\u2062 are gonna \u2064unfold pretty brutally\u200b over the \u2064next few months,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Some reactions on social media \u200cechoed Peterson\u2019s observations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe \u2062tells it like it is.
