It was ‍my⁢ brother’s ‌face.”

He told his sister to send him the video. When he opened it, he saw a ‍Hamas⁤ propaganda video, complete with blaring ⁣Arabic music and text running across the video.

In the video, Ilay ‍saw his brother being led through a street that⁣ he said looked like ⁤a ⁢street in Gaza.⁣ Evyatar’s ‌shirt was torn. He was handcuffed behind his back. And he was lying in a ⁤truck with other guys, probably the guys that Hamas took to the ‌room, to the, I don’t know, underground room.”

Ilay ⁤remarked on Evyatar’s condition, which still gives the family some comfort: ‍“And he, my brother, has strong energy, even through the videos.”

Waiting with Hope

Now Ilay and‍ his family can do nothing but‌ wait. “The first two ‌days, all the‌ country was ‍in chaos, complete chaos,” he said. “We tried ‍to deliver any information we had to all authorities, to the police and to the ⁤military and everyone. The panic and fear in the air were palpable.

As ‍they slowly made their way through ‌the‍ chaotic traffic, Ilay couldn’t shake ‌off ⁣the feeling ‌of ⁢helplessness. Our lives were ⁢on hold, waiting⁤ for that phone call.”

During this time, Ilay began to‍ reflect on‌ the senselessness of the attack. “Evyatar was just an innocent music lover, enjoying a festival with his friends. He had his whole life ahead of him. It’s ⁤heartbreaking to think that it‌ was taken away from him in an instant.”

The Need for⁢ Solidarity

As Ilay shares his story, ‍he hopes that it will serve as a wake-up call for people around the world.

“The attack‌ on my brother and countless others should be a sobering reminder ⁢of the dangers we face in⁤ this world,” Ilay emphasizes. “We must stand together and fight against terrorism‍ in all⁣ its forms.”

He also urges people ⁣to appreciate the value of⁤ life and not take it for granted. “We often get⁢ caught up‌ in our own problems⁤ and forget about the suffering ‍of others. We need⁢ to remember that every life is ‍precious and deserves⁣ to be protected.”

As for Evyatar,‌ his fate remains uncertain.⁣ Ilay and his ‍family will continue to wait and‌ hope, never giving up on‍ the possibility of his safe return.

“We won’t stop fighting for him,” Ilay says with determination.⁢ “We will do everything in our ⁣power to⁤ bring him back⁣ home.”

As ⁣Ilay’s story comes to an end, the weight of his words lingers.
