You can\u2019t triple the\u200b price of the\u200b rooms. Maybe you can allow, a 10, 15% increase, but tripling the prices\u2063 won\u2019t work.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe way it\u200d is \u200cgoing, we\u2019re \u2062going to \u200dfeed the Airbnb beast.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Visitors\u2064 might opt for Airbnb, but the\u2064 French \u2062parliament \u2062is expected to pass a law to crack down on illegal\u200b renting of\u2062 tourism homes.<\/p>\n<p>In Paris, \u2064residents are allowed \u2063to\u200b rent their place on \u200bAirbnb\u2063 for a maximum 120 days a year, but\u2063 Jacques\u2063 Baudrier, Paris\u2019s \u2062deputy mayor in\u200d charge of housing, said the city is struggling to have the law respected.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe need to produce \u2064a lot of evidence that the \u2063law is not respected and\u200c it makes it hard to sanction,\u201d \u2062Baudrier told \u200cReuters on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are about\u2064 20,000 homes that are \u2062being rented illegally all\u2062 year long.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The French parliament is expected to pass a law stipulating \u200bthat owners who rent their homes will \u2064be taxed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe law project will\u2064 be presented at the Parliament on Nov. 28, and we are confident\u200d that it will pass.\u200d We don\u2019t have any\u200c problems\u200b with those who rent their home\u200d legally.
