Recently, she reached\u200d out to me, deeply concerned about a new club for young learners at her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-announces-plans-to-travel-to-uvalde-texas-on-sunday\/\" title=\"Biden Announces Plans To Travel To Uvalde, Texas, On Sunday\">local <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/2020-was-the-brian-stelter-of-years\/\" title=\"2020 Was the Brian Stelter of Years\">elementary school<\/a><\/a>. Brace yourself \u200cfor this one \u2013 the club is called\u2062 the &#8220;After\u200d School Satan Club.&#8221; Yes, you read that \u2064correctly. Satanists have managed to establish a club right within\u200c an elementary school. To add to the absurdity, they even promote it with a \u2064flyer adorned with \u200ccute \u2063colored pencils. Although the club is not officially endorsed by the school \u2062district, \u2062its first meeting \u2063is scheduled\u200b for December 1, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>The\u2064 flyer\u200c includes\u200d a Disclaimer in\u200d the middle, stating that the Satanic \u200cTemple, the organization behind the club, is a non-theistic religion that views Satan as a symbolic figure representing the rejection of tyranny and the championing\u2064 of the human mind and\u2062 spirit. They claim that the \u2062After School Satan Club \u200ddoes\u2062 not aim to convert children\u2063 to any religion \u2064but \u200brather encourages independent thinking.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>&#8220;The Satanic Temple is a \u2064non-theistic religion that views \u2063Satan as \u200ba literary figure who represents a metaphorical construct of rejecting tyranny and championing the human mind and spirit. After School Satan Club does not attempt to \u200bconvert \u200dchildren to any religion. Instead, The Satanic Temple\u2063 supports children to think\u200d for\u200d themselves.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Upon \u200bfurther investigation, it becomes apparent that the Satanic Temple, despite its ominous name, is \u2063primarily focused on promoting a leftist agenda. They have even petitioned the\u200c state of Texas to allow their members to undergo voluntary abortions as part of a religious ritual, a move that aligns with\u2063 their opposition to the Supreme Court&#8217;s decision to \u200boverturn Roe v. Wade. In a rather disturbing\u2062 twist, they have set up a fundraiser for\u2063 the &#8220;Samuel Alito&#8217;s Mom&#8217;s Abortion Clinic,&#8221; targeting\u200b Justice Samuel Alito, who authored\u2062 the Court&#8217;s \u200dmajority opinion in \u200dDobbs v. Jackson Women&#8217;s Health Organization.<\/p>\n<p>But their \u200dagenda doesn&#8217;t stop at advocating for abortion rights. \u200dThe Satanic Temple also takes aim at schools that permit Bible study groups to meet after school. Wherever there is a Bible study club, they want a Satan\u200b club. Their reasoning? They claim that they do not believe in introducing \u2062religion into public schools and will only establish a club if other religious groups\u200b are already operating\u2062 on campus.<\/p>\n<p>So far, they have successfully set up after school clubs in\u200d rural elementary schools in Virginia and Pennsylvania.\u200d In fact, a Democrat\u200c candidate for office in Virginia even promoted one of these\u200c clubs. Meanwhile, Lebanon&#8217;s elementary school recently \u2063authorized \u200dthe &#8220;Good News Club,&#8221; a Christian program for children aged 5 to 12 that focuses on Bible lessons,\u2064 songs, memory verses, and \u2063games.<\/p>\n<p>In\u2064 2001, the Supreme Court ruled\u200d in favor of the Good News\u200b Club, stating that the \u200cclub should\u2064 have the same access as other groups to provide after-school programs promoting moral\u200c and character development. Justice Clarence Thomas emphasized that denying\u200c the club access based\u200d on its religious nature would violate the Free Speech Clause of the First Amendment.<\/p>\n<p>Last weekend, the superintendent of\u200d Lebanon public schools sent a\u200b letter to\u2063 parents \u2062explaining that, legally, \u200cthe district must allow\u2064 access to\u2063 various\u2062 groups without regard to their religious, \u200dpolitical, \u2064or philosophical perspectives \u2064as long as they comply \u200bwith the viewpoint-neutral criteria set forth in board\u2064 policies. \u200cHowever, one must question whether\u200c this is truly necessary.<\/p>\n<p>The Lebanon School Board&#8217;s policy, in line with Connecticut law, permits the use of school facilities for nonprofit educational or community purposes. The Satanic \u200cTemple&#8217;s after\u200c school club is far from\u2063 educational\u2062 and is specifically designed to mock\u200d the principles of the First Amendment by targeting schools with \u200dexisting\u200d religious clubs. Denying them access to school facilities would be a strong response, but it is unlikely that the\u2063 school board will take \u2062such action, considering the legal\u2063 consequences faced by a Pennsylvania school board that denied the club access.<\/p>\n<p>Out of \u200bthe 336 students attending\u200b Lebanon\u200b Elementary School, only nine children have been given permission by their parents to join the inaugural meeting of the After School Satan Club on December 1.\u2062 While this is a small proportion, it is crucial to \u2062understand the\u2064 gravity of\u2063 the situation.<\/p>\n<p>These \u200dnine children face\u200c the potential indoctrination by fanatics who\u2064 support abortion and gender ideology. Despite their invocation\u2064 of evil\u2062 symbolism,\u200c they enjoy the support of\u200c powerful lobbyists\u200d who are friendly with the current administration, \u2063led by someone who claims to be \u2062a devout Catholic.
