Chuck Grassley (R-IO) win his eighth election. <\/p>\n<p> Trump was in Iowa on Saturday speaking at Fort Dodge Senior High School for his Team Trump Iowa Commit to Caucus Event. This was the candidate&#8217;s event instead of attending Friday&#8217;s Thanksgiving Family Forum Friday, were his opponents Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL), entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, and former South Carolina Gov. You think it\u2018s easy to come from wherever the hell I am and do a rally? I got them elected. Remember that. But Ron DeSantis, I got him elected.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p> Grassley, 89, has long won his elections by a comfortable majority, but it has decreased over recent elections. Joni Ernst (R-IO) on the other hand, has always won by narrow margins, taking only 52% of the vote in 2014 and 51% in 2020 despite not being challenged in the primary by any other Republican candidates. <\/p>\n<p>Trump has the lead in Iowa with 58 days until the state&#8217;s caucus, at 47% according to the RealClearPolitics polling average, compared to Gov. Ron DeSantis&#8217;s (R-FL) 17.3% and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley&#8217;s 14.3%. Speaking at the Team Trump Iowa Commit \u200cto Caucus Event held at \u2063Fort Dodge Senior High School\u200d on Saturday, Trump asserted that he\u200b had personally \u200chelped Grassley and other candidates \u2063secure\u2064 their wins.<\/p>\n<p>During\u200b his speech, Trump highlighted the challenges faced by Grassley and other candidates and emphasized his\u2064 role in their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/republican-candidates-test-how-far-they-can-go-in-criticizing-trump\/\" title=\"GOP candidates push boundaries in criticizing Trump\">electoral\u200b success<\/a>.
